My husband and I are brand new to MA, just moved into our temporary housing on Friday as we wait to close on our home. We went shopping for the first time today at Stop&Shop and let’s just say I am quite appalled at the experience. We aren’t incredibly budget conscious shoppers but I do tend to grab sale items over similar full-priced items when I see them. Grabbed a bunch of stuff, half of it was supposed to be marked down. Some items quite extremely; coffee for example was $13, marked down to $4.99 for a pound. Thought it was a great deal! Got to self checkout and every single item rang up at full price. Every one. Not one single sale was honored. Two questions: What the heck, and why?

I’m a newbie to AUG so forgive the questions.
I’ve loved bullpups for ever. I just think they are cool. I don’t shoot competitively. Basically I just enjoy shooting with friends and getting dinner afterwards. I like things that everyone doesn’t have. I REALLY like something that is NOT a one trick pony. Put the two together and finding interesting stuff can be a hard sell. I’m also not into modding every nut and bolt (pun intended). Maybe a truly functional change here or there.
I got an Sig MCX years ago with both the 5.56 and 300blk barrels. I love being able to swap them around. The 300blk is scary stupid quite with my can. I’ve never had one issue with it.
It would be nice to shoot 9mm and use my pistol pistol ammo. It’s also cheaper ☺️
Enter the AUG. It seems to check all the boxes. 5.56, 300blk and 9mm. It appears to be a pretty simple weapon and something I can work on myself. It look SOOOO cool and not everyone has it. Prices on line also aren’t crazy high.
Am I missing something here? It seems too easy.
Never having shoot a Aug, what should I know going in?
Considering I want all 3 calibers, do I need a specific model? Any package deals out there?
Is getting a used Aug a questionable life choice?
Anyone in Denver have a good shop that wouldn’t F me because I’m poop-pooing their 87 ARs that looks the same or do I just go online?

2025.01.18 22:59 superchick9000 AITAH for refusing the do a chore while my mom's boyfriend was around
I'm 17(f) and my mother got a boyfriend she got with him a few months ago and my brother wasn't happy. my mom has been with some bad people in the past who have not treated us well let's just say and my mother is what you might say a bit love blind.
My mother asked me if I was ok with her having a boyfriend I was ok with it if she evaluated the relationship and took it slow and maybe introduced us for a bit before having him just come in the house because she did that with her other boyfriends my brother just asked for her to never bring the boyfriend around my him and he would be ok.
My mother did not do either of those things she said she would abide by at least my request of taking it slow and didn't. Around a week to 2 weeks later he was in our house I got no warning he was just there one day.
I was ok with acting ok with it because I knew my mom was sad and wanted companionship so I acted like everything was normal while my mom and brother argued about it almost all the time they yelled and stuff like that it was annoying to say the least.
Now the real thing that got me agitated was when mom told me he cheated. But then a week later he shows up no warning again and my mom just says "oh he was just talking to other girls never had sex with anyone" like that would make me more happy about the situation. But I never tell at her about it I at least try to have a level of respect because she is my mother.
The things is I refuse to put myself in a situation I have to be around the guy mom knows this it's obvious I don't want to be around him after the cheating thing. Then one day my mom asked me if I could do dishes for her even though it was her turn since she did that for me and I was like yeah seems reasonable so I agreed to do it that weekend.
Then that weekend she brings the guy over even though she knows I don't wanna be around him since I put myself in my room and isolate myself basic all the entire time he is around. My mom brings him around a lot almost every weekend and every break from school we have had she has to have him home so every time I'm out of school he is there so I can almost never enjoy my weekend at my house because of him.
Anyways so the day comes and she asks me to do the chore is question which is the dishes in front of the boyfriend. I tell her I will do it when he isn't around so he decides to leave since I'm not doing something because of him. My mom is angry at me saying I'm being disrespectful and get aggressive at me because he decides to leave.
When she gets back from him leaving she gets mad at me and starts yelling at me almost not fully yelling but you get the point. Going off about how she didn't raise me like this and how I'm being the disrespectful one even though through all of this I have tried not to be confrontational and not have an argument happen.
I have clear boundaries and she got mad at me for trying to tell her those boundaries about the situation. It makes me angry I did end up doing them while she took her boyfriend back home but I'm still mad. She was telling me how she was gonna beat me with a belt if I ever do that again.
I just want to be left alone in all of this I don't want him around me this all makes me uncomfortable I hate it.

And I think that with that I caught the attention of several, but my question goes more to the question: Why do you buy in an unofficial place or what makes you buy in unofficial places? And I know that not all of us can spend the same amount or it never hurts to find an offer but as several have said, this subreddit is only asking questions about whether it is fake or not. In my case, I bought my sm7db in the official Shure store on Amazon and well Knowing where I buy, I don't think I have to doubt if it's fake or not.
