Truck was second hand. Never hand the rear differential fluid changed until it was making noises around 130,000 Miles. Cover was seized and replaced along with the fluid. This was a few years ago. No issues at this point. Around 178/179k I take it in to weld on the frame. I'm told the rear differential must be leaking there's zero fluid in it. It gets topped off and there are no sounds or issues.
A few months later I drive all the way to work. At the end of the day I switch gears into reverse, and the first movement of the vehicle backwards (1inch or less) [BANG] followed by something clanging around. I thought transmission at first but that's not it. The U-joint is good. Idling around you hear a banging/thumping rhythmically based on the speed in the rear that vibrates the floor. It was horrible for 30 miles and the sounds have subsided besides the thumping as if boots were thrown into a washing machine.
The first night I couldn't go over 25mph or the thumping turned into a grinding and whining sound. Now suddenly I can go 50mph and it's far more mild thumping. I checked the fluid and it was around half. I topped it up and the sounds have dampened. The inside of the differential was full of silver glitter all through the previous sludge and oil.
I know the vehicle is done because I've been patching the frame for a few years but I do need something for now to work. I'm not sure if it's worth swapping parts and to hell with the timing as long as it lasts a few thousand miles or if I can swap the whole differential with one from a scrap truck which is available.

Due to a severe handicap (I’m a disabled Army veteran), I have an accommodation that exempts me from taking the experimental section of the LSAT. My test was split over two days:
- Day 1: I took two sections of Logical Reasoning.
- Day 2: I took one Reading Comprehension section and thought I was finished.
They also mentioned that I had the option to cancel my exam and reschedule, but doing so would mean missing this application cycle, which I cannot afford to do. Reluctantly, I complied and completed the fourth section (another Logical Reasoning section).
My Questions:
- What do you think LSAC’s mistake might have been?
- What course of action should I take to address this?
- Is there a precedent for this type of mistake by LSAC?

Hey Everyone! Installing a Kicker Hideaway in my 2024 GMC Sierra SLT with Bose. I’m running into an issue where the amp goes directly into protect mode. It’s a brand new sub and I also tried another brand new Kicker Hideaway and it was the same issue. Used a DMM and am getting 12.5v of power. Checked the ground and it’s at 0 ohms. The ground is sanded and used with a terminal. I had the speaker level input connected to the sub output first based on some forums I read about and then changed it to the front left speaker. Have done a lot of troubleshooting but can’t figure out why the amp goes directly into protect mode. I have checked all fuses as well and everything is good on that end. The only other thing that I can think of is that I have joined the left and right speaker wires together (two positives connected to one positive and two negatives connected to one negative) that could cause it but I don’t believe that would cause this. At first I was thinking maybe because I’m not using a remote wire and it’s because of the signal sense but after installing a remote wire I get no lights. So I switched back to DC mode. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? Thanks!

My tattoo is 8 days old. It has been sore and red in some places but it has calmed down a bit now. It also seems to be bubbling, I suspect this is from over moisturising, I’ve never had this issue before though so I wonder If sweat in the area and rubbing from my pants would be having an effect. Just did a rewatch and went with the dub for the first time and holy MOLY is it so much better than people make it out to be. Many of the lines changed, but my god is it hilarious. For such an absurd show, I really appreciate how the direction doesn’t take itself too seriously. Here’s my best comparison:
For anyone who has ever read The Metamorphosis (Kafka), it’s grim, but there’s a lot of humor to it. Now, some years ago, Benedict Cumberbatch did an audiobook reading that, in my opinion, was awful because he read it like a high-suspense, gritty, near-horror story the whole time. While the story is partially all those things, it’s also weirdly lighthearted and hilarious at times, too.
Future Diary is the same. Sure, there’s suspense and serious moments, but the whole thing is ridiculous, and the Dub celebrates that with tons of one-liners that had us rolling and even rewinding the scene to compare to the original Japanese.
So if you’ve never tried the dub or judged it too harshly, I highly recommend and urge you to give it a (possibly second) try. Looked at this way, I think it’s truly enjoyable.
