I have a MrDYI canbus reader and have loaded the example Arduino sketch onto the board. When the sketch starts I get the output as shown below.

So, it sort of starts up, but gets stuck when trying to the create the RTOS task. The suspect line of code is below, as neither print statement is executed

Looking into the ESP32 CAN libraries, it appears to be getting stuck in the following place. 1st line is obviously executed, but the third line is not.

2025.01.19 00:20 KitchenWarrior22 Friendship changed and I don't know how to move forward

Hi guys So 1.5 years ago I (f) made friends with a woman who lives next door (with her bf). We both have dogs and we went on walks together almost everyday, sometimes a little less than that because I had work or she had to work. We also texted and talked a lot. Then their dogs got sick and weren't allowed around other dogs for a month. And ever since that time (it's been at least 4 months now) we barely have any contact. I'm lucky if they respond the same day. We maybe meet evey other week for a walk or so and the effort seems to be one-sided. The entire friendship feels one-sided since their dogs got sick.. the dogs have been fine now for a while but things never went back to our former normal.
I don't handle changes like that very well so I tried talking to her about it and told her how I felt and asked if something was wrong. She answered that this is how their usual friendships are..
I don't really understand that change since for an entire year it was completely different. They put as much effort into our friendship as I. But as I mentioned they did a 180 degree turn and now I'm the only one that keeps up the same level of effort as before.
I don't really know what to do.. I don't understand their sudden change in behavior.
Maybe some of you have some advice?

Hi all, I’m in my mid/late twenties and really don’t have super strong desires to have children. Mainly because I work an exhausting job (a job I love though) and don’t want to come home and have to take care of others, the state of the world rn, the financial aspect of it, etc. My job has never been something I’m willing to give up to have children. To add on to this, my one and only sibling also does not want children which I feel is the only thing that could have filled my void of not having kids.
I’m super worried about regretting this later in life and I guess I’m just looking to see what others have to say in the same situation as me

I placed an order for a single meal at a restaurant 8 miles away and the total was $22. I gave a $7 tip. In my delivery instructions it asks for the food to be brought up to the 2nd floor. It’s usually not a problem—I make sure the porch light is on and the front door unlocked. Dasher left my food sitting on the uncovered porch area, didn’t knock or ring the doorbell. I had no idea it was out there for 10 minutes and now I’m pretty annoyed and considering rating her low. Any insight on why she would have ignored simple instructions, especially because the tip was decent? I’m also considering taking back part of the tip, if that’s even an option. Would I be justified in doing so?

To start things off, i don’t think i’ve ever posted here, but i’ve been a part of this community for a good few years now and it’ll be my final year as a teenager, as i’ll be 20 in june, reading your stories and experiences have truly helped me or made me smile throughout the years and i just want to thank you all. now onto the actual part of the post, i had this major crush on this girl 5 years ago who was in my grade 10 class, things happened(she got a bf), now in my second first year (i failed last year unfortunately) of uni i finally managed to ask her to hang out one on one. unfortunately i have this huge fear of rejection to the point im unable to do a lot of things which is why i am unfortunately a generational fumbler, which ended being my nickname (the fumbler) but tn i just said “f*** it” and asked her and i was met with a positive response. so my advice to ask you young ones out there dying of fear to do anything, remember that you really won’t know if you don’t try, not necessarily when it comes to asking your crush out, but even in your daily life, the regret of procrastination and never finding out is much worse than that of a simple no, i’m just grateful to have had a second chance at this, but most people aren’t lucky enough for a second chance at anything so just say “f*** it” and do it. the relief of that no is much more comforting than the overthinking you’ll go through over and over about “what if i had just done it?”. Anyways this will probably be my first and last post on this sub. Luv you guys and i wish you the best✌️

While NVIDIA and Intel seem to be holding steady at 12GB with only Nvidia's Ti/SUPER models having 16GB. Is 12GB the new 8GB? Is it enough for the foreseeable future?

They're a negligible and just sort of unfun mechanic at a casual level, if a League of Legends team cannot win a game in 35-40 minutes of the tons of extra objectives they access to, I'm not sure if they deserve exclusive rights to the boots lol. This wouldn't really change much in high elo and would make losing in low elo way less psychologically frustrating

I know at this point the game is more of a dress up type than anything else but like is losing me soo bad with the new boss being literally the same boss we fought 3 times before but purple and even worse, i remember first playing molten fortres i know it was a pain with randoms but the mechanic is so cool and fun now is even better like you guys perfected the turtle yei. The game needs FUN not just dress up because i was so pump buying skins and stuff but now is like meh why spent money on this if im gonna play it for a few days and move on to Fortnite for example lol.
The QC ETA vouchers are the most lame boring thing in the whole game is not even about being end game because you see MR15 running with the skins n stuff is just plain as boring it feels like padding just to get players to put more hours on the game so it doesn't fall out.
I have played many Games like this and honestly with years it gets boring but tfd well my whole friend group move back to warframe sadly since in my opinion this game look 1000 times better than warframe but not everything are looks.

im 15 and i have aspergers syndrome. I try so hard to mask but sometimes i just dont know when my behavior is autistic and when it isnt. I asked my dad(also has aspergers syndrome) to tell me every time when my behavior is autistic but he refused, idrk why. I also asked my mom(neurotypical) to do that and she kinda agreed but she doesnt really tell me. I think that maybe if someone beat me everytime my behavior is autistic i would behave better. I really wanna seem normal to other people. My friends, colleagues and classmates besides one long time friend dont even know that i have aspergers. When my teacher said that i "have a diagnosis" in front of the whole class, i told them that its a dyslexia diagnosis after. They just think that im shy and thats what i usually tell people when theyre wondering why am i so awkward. Sometimes people think that i dont like them or dont want to talk to them when in reality i really want to. All of my previous friendships ended because of me and my behavior, because i act before thinking. Im really ashamed of my disorder, as a kid i really really wanted to be reincarnated in a body without it, life would be so much easier for me. Sometimes when people wonder why do i behave like that i wanna tell them that i have Aspergers but im too ashamed of it, im scared that i will be excluded, i was excluded from activities and groups all my life.
