After the meeting, I heard PIMI saying: "does this mean some congregations appointed elders under the age of 21? how's that possible? even 21 is so young!"
My father is the CoBE and when I told him I don't understand how come that a 21 can be appointed as an elder , he replied: "an elder who is 21 could definitely not take part in every aspect of elder activities, he would be too young to participate in a judicial committee for example".
So let's be honest, lots of PIMI feel very uncomfortable with the borg pushing the very young to be elders. And even current elders know it's nonsense!
I wonder what's gonna come out of it; they can't indefinitely lower the age limit to become an elder. And let me tell you, in Europe where getting a master degree has become quite the norm, they're not gonna find brothers under the age of 25 wiling to become elders!

Pretty much the title, I just finished S1E7 where we find out Marks wife is still alive. I feel like this show is about sex, post nut clarity, or maybe infidelity? I just feel like it makes sense with the way the outies ( the ‘aroused’ versions of ourselves) don’t care about the consequences their actions have on the innies (the PNC/clear minded versions of ourselves). The way the elevator operates seems really similar to that of like a post nut clarity where almost an instant after you come down (literally, cause it’s an elevator that goes down) from that high of arousal, reality hits you again and you go back to a normal life. Also, while I haven’t seen past S1E7, I feel like Mark only being able to see his wife when he’s an innie may end up supporting this claim in some way? Idk maybe this is totally wrong, or it’s obvious and my media literacy is just trash. Has anyone else thought of this? Is there anything else that supports this that I’ve missed?

I think playing low elo as a solo q player is pretty much impossible unless they ever add a role queue. Every game theres 4 mfs insta locking dps and i suck at tank but always end up having to play it because my teammates share one braincell between them and think 5 dps and 1 healer is a good idea. I like somewhat classic (can be a child or adult comfortably with the name) but not overly common names- ones that are also versatile in origin (not totally American sounding with European influences as I'm the child of an immigrant from Italy).
Juliet is our front runner right now, but worried it sounds too uppity, which is definitely not our vibe. But I do feel it could come across as down to earth too. We love Alice as well. I got a job at a FAANG. And planning to start next month. I'm finishing my PhD and everything is done except publishing my last paper. Should I disclose it to my employer? I'm worried they later will claim the IP if I don't mention it to them. However, I'm worried they won't approve it if I tell them I will work on publishing this paper after my start date.

I'm currently writing a book between two characters that meet at 18 and 27 respectively, and begin a romantic relationship at 20 and 29. The story only makes sense if they're individually at their respective ages, otherwise there'd be no story between them. Is there a good way to execute this narrative without coming off as predatory or even tabboo? I've heard many people say age gaps between two women together is weird.
