I lived with a friend (T) for a little over a year, and it was incredibly draining and I'm just now processing things.
Let me preface by saying I still like T, but living together was not the right choice.
I moved in with her after I moved out of my apartment. Within the first couple of days of moving in she texted me and told me to "come home now!" Perplexed, I called her. Her ex had shown up wanting to pick up her things, and she didn't want to give them to her. T said that she felt threatened by her ex and wanted someone to be at the house. I told her to call the cops, but she refused and insisted that I come back to the house. Eventually her ex ended up leaving, but they met at a public park within the week and got into a screaming match. She also wanted me to record their conversations when they were on the phone, but it became quickly evident that T was the problem.
She has a teenager who is very argumentative and on the spectrum. Which, I understand that there are some social issues, but he was aggressive (putting his hands around my neck like he was choking me at one point). I talked with her about it and it got slightly better. But he would still say really alarming and uncomfortable things when she was not around.
She was gone a lot of the time, as she was working, hanging out with friends, working on a campaign or in school.
She has health problems, and she wasn't taking care of herself, so I had to take her to the hospital one night when she was drifitng in and out of consciousness. She also had said that she felt sui*idal at multiple points while I was living there, saying at one point that she felt she needed to be checked into a care facility. She would say these things in front of her daughter, which would stress her out. She seemed to rely on her daughter emotionally for some things, which was uncomfortable to watch. She said that she wanted another baby, but wasn't really there with her kids all that often.
She was very distracted and would flit from one thing to another. She adopted a cat, and one minute she was saying how much she loved him, and the next said that she wanted to get rid of him. He wasn't problematic, he used the box and was very sweet, and he wouldn't claw anything. She offered for me to rent a house that she had in another state, and while it was tempting I was unsure if the situation could be trusted. I also would've had to find another roommate or two, as I wouldn't have been able to cover rent on my own.
Overall I feel like I didn't have the time or space to deal with my own issues, and I would hang out in my room a lot as a way to try and reground myself. It felt like an emotional whirlwind a lot of the time. She's older than me, so it was surprising that she didn't have a very good grasp on her life situations.
I don't dislike T, and I still consider her a good friend, but now that I'm in a space where I can process things it feels like it was a very heavy time in my life.

In my old picture I was 14 years old, the picture speaks for itself as for as how I looked like. Kids made fun of me for being overweight, so as a result I decided to become a bully so that people could respect me, kids started to fear me but I was never truly happy with myself and how I looked. Finally, as a young adult I started to take care of my health and decided to exercise and diet properly. But most importantly I changed my whole mindset, which shaped who I am today.
My workout routine: Push/Pull/Leg: 2x per week and 6 days in total. I focused on key compound lifts like squads, barbell bench press, barbell overhead presses, close group bench press, barbell rows, weighted pull ups etc. I focused on progressive overload, meaning I tracked my lifts to ensure I got stronger at them each week.
My diet: I ate 180 grams of protein each day, the rest were healthy carbs and healthy fats. I ate foods like rice, potatoes, chicken, fish, avocado, broccoli, lots of other fruits and vegetables.

Hello everyone! I suffer from Health Anxiety, which has really been bad these couple of months. The main fear right now is TC (testicular cancer).
These last couple of weeks i have been observing my testicles quite often. The things i found is that my left is a bit bigger than the right one (in the time i have been observing there have been no changes). Another thing is that when i squeeze my testicles, they feel hard at first but if i poke it or gently press it i feel it being squeezable/soft. This really triggers me because i cant find any case where nobody mentions this. Other than that my testicles feels normal in shape and no lumps. BUT i also recently found a "mass" in my scrotum that is not connected to my testicles. I feel some thick veins coming from it as well. Its not bothering me at all but i noticed it being there and it don't seem normal.
I want to get your perspective on this one, and see if you find it normal or abnormal.
(I should also mention that i recently got told that i have IBS. This also causes abdominal, back, shoulder and site irritation. Not pain but irritation). The thing about this is that some of the symptoms are also TC symptoms. Also most of my back pain/irritation is gone but sometimes appears in the lower back when i wake up. (I also have a horrible bed so that could also be the cause).
