*The window is about 33“w x 77"h and it has thick wooden framing (old house).
I have this old bookshelf from ikea that I'm updating and I'd like to repurpose into hanging planters. I was thinking of cutting the shelves to size, drilling holes in the corners, sanding, staining, (I'm assuming I'll need to seal it for waterproofing, so something for that), then using some kind of rope to connect the shelves.
Any pointers anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated! I'm used to winging stuff, but I'm a beginner here so I need an idea of what supplies and techniques would be best. Also not really clear on how to safely mount it to the top of the window frame for hanging.

2025.01.19 02:00 Abject-Ad-7765 AITA for not wanting to split up chores unevenly?
I (31F) and my husband (33M) both work full-time and he makes more than double what I do. He is by all means the breadwinner of our family. I had trouble with job stability the last couple of years, while my husband was employed very quickly after undergrad. This has allowed him to be promoted regularly, while I’m still trying to break into my industry.
All chores are evenly split between us. There are no chores that one of us do that the other doesn’t. We alternate days to do laundry, mop, sweep, cook. We buy groceries together, and alternate on errands also. We typically wash the dishes in the evening together, and wash our own dishes when the other isn’t present. The point is, there isn’t a single household task I can think of that we don’t either split or do together. Even when it comes to more physical tasks such as mowing the lawn or any yard work, we split those too. We have a chore calendar and have typically never deviated.
After coming home from work two days ago, Mr husband seemed slightly more stressed than usual. I did all my usual chores for that day, and waited for my husband to come into the kitchen as it was his day to cook. I decided to go ahead and cook that night as he seemed rather stressed and I was getting hungry. When my husband finally came out, he was surprised to see dinner ready. We were mostly quiet when we ate, but then my husband mentioned we should divide the chore list so that I would take on more household tasks. I shot him a weird glance as we both worked the same amount of hours and never had a problem with our current chore list. He explained that he made far more than I did and contributed more to the household bills and it only felt fair that he be rewarded for the extra cash he earned for the family.
I was slightly annoyed and told him our salaries shouldn’t constitute reapportioning tasks when neither of us worked more hours than the other nor had laborious jobs that would cause us to tire quickly. While I will never make quite as much as him, I’ve just started my job and have yet to receive any promotions yet. Eventually the gap on our salaries will close, but that definitely won’t happen if I come to work tired from having to take on the brunt of household tasks. He wouldn’t budge on the issue and said that it hardly seemed fair he contributed more and I wouldn’t do something as simple as take on a few more days of chores.
I offered up switching up the chores we do/ days we do them, I suggested as many alternatives I could. I don’t know what sparked this change. I asked him if anyone had said anything to him or if there were any issues he had to tell me. He just shrugged and said it seemed like I took more than I gave in the relationship.
What should I do? I really don’t want to split the chores up unevenly, but we’ve been on this issue for the past two days and he hasn’t changed his mind at all, which makes me think I might be in the wrong here.
(Apologies if this post is kind of vague, many of our friends are on Reddit and I don’t want our issues to be the talk of the group)

Hello, i have a 2015 outlander sport brand new battery car's key ignition wont turn ive tried both keys checked for damaged on the keys cannot turn it at all. The car is in park and on a hill and i cannot get it out of parking gear to even move it to neutral not sure what to do is the ignition broken? Is there anything i can try to get it to at least move?

What I mean is, will I still get the lowest rates if my credit score is 725 vs. 830? My credit union's best rates for car loans are 724 and higher. So if my score was 725 or if it was 825, I'd get the same rate. So effectively, is there any real difference, other than if you have an 825 score, you have some cushion, if you are late with a payment or some other reason.

 | I got my nails done yesterday for the first time in years so I don't know much about nails. This is how my nails from underneath look like. I was wondering what these are. I asked for powder and they also extended my nails with those fake nails (idk what they're called) but it was only added to the tips of my nails. I believe the lady added glue to make them stick. I can't remember if those uv lights were used to cure the glue. I have heard of instances that nails can turn green (fungus/bacteria) because moisture would get trapped in between the real nails and the fake nails :(. I have a condo worth $650,000 and I owe $110,000. The mortgage renewal is in March. I’m planning to move this year and buy a place worth $900,000.
I have enough savings that I could pay off my mortgage. The advantage of this is when I buy a place for $900,000, I can shop around to get the best rate. I’d be starting fresh with the new home. But my concern is, if I buy a place before I sell this one, I’ll have to come up with 20% of $900,000 down payment. That would have to come from my line of credit I think. Then when the condo sells, I’ll have $650,000 that would pay off the line of credit, the mortgage (however much is allowed on a fixed closed) and I won’t be able to reinvest in my TFSAs until the following year I believe.
Or should I just renew the mortgage in March and transfer it when I move?
I’ve never sold a property so I don’t even know how transferring a mortgage works.
