 | So my house built in 1993 has these super old ceiling lights which I want to swap out. Problem is no matter what light I look at, the part which holds the light to the ceiling is always smaller in diameter than the hole in the ceiling (7 inch). Is there any products out there which I can fit to my ceiling in this hole? Any bar I can insert inside to hold the lights? I’ve had to return so many lights due to this. 2025.01.19 02:18 Lost_Anywhere Can I level this enough to install a hardwood floor?
I am remodeling my kitchen and want to replace the linoleum flooring in my addition, kitchen, living room and hallway with hardwood flooring. The problem is the floor in the addition is about 1/2 inch higher then the rest if the house. You can feel and see the high point of the current floor right between the addition and the kitchen. So the floor in the addition is flat, it transitions into the kitchen dropping 1/2 over about 3 feet, then the rest of the kitchen and hallway floor slopes down and away as well. I have included a diagram of the floor layout and a picture of the current floor where it transitions from the addition to the kitchen. I am trying to figure out if it is possible to level the floor enough to install hardwood flooring running from the addition towards the kitchen. I also am concerned about how the flooring will align with the living room where the plan is to continue with the same hardwood flooring. Any advice would be appreciated.

2025.01.19 02:18 Subject-Tax-8826 Brake lights
So my daughter has an 04 Liberty. I was driving behind her the other day and noticed both her brake lights were out, with just the 3rd light working. Since that 3rd light was working, I figured it was the bulbs and she had likely been driving around with one light for a while. So I changed the bulbs. Still not working.
Oh. Must be the fuse. I checked the fuse in the cabin under the dash. Looks fine. So I Google, realize there is a switch behind the pedal I’ve never heard of, change that out (after a lot of swearing that thing is in an awkward spot) and STILL nothing but that 3rd light.
Out of desperation, I changed the cabin fuse (number 12) and no surprise, they still won’t work.
Is there a fuse under the hood that controls the brake lights? I cannot fathom what else it could be.
