I'm a college freshman. My dad is a doctor. He is the type to gain one's control using fear instead of respect. The problem is, I'm not scared of him. I've realized that his way of parenting is terrible, and being the rebellious kid that I am, I don't enable his way of teaching by simply showing that I am not affected. To name a few, when I was a kid I was always bombarded with being called stupid, and as I grew older, the insults just got worse and worse, hearing cuss words I didn't even know existed. One day, I messed up and he again bombarded me with insults, I cried he told me that I should stop acting. He thought I was acting to make him feel bad.
Eventually, I started doing martial arts, and with this, my dad started to imply things that showed me that he was getting intimidated. With this, he started hitting me more often whenever we argued, threatening to break my things and all that I did was because of him.
After my high school graduation, my parents wanted to celebrate by doing one of the things I hated the most. Naturally, I got annoyed. I claimed that what they did was inconsiderate. To do something I hated for my graduation. They said it's not my accomplishment but theirs as well as a family.
Just this morning, I fed all the animals, I then planned to workout, study, and do all my tasks. I already helped my dad and he asked me to help him fix a doorknob. I didn't want to because I did have things to do. He didn't even bother asking me If I had anything to do. This led to me sighing and acting as if i didn't want to be there. He came to me and told me to leave him alone. He said I don't help him and have no conscience and sense of mercy even if I just fed all the animals in our house
There are also many reasons as to why I start to resent my dad. I also caught him watching adult films multiple times already. Every time I see him I resist the urge to lash out and hit him till his face flattens. It annoys me that he believes that in just a couple of days, everything will be okay. All the damage and hurt he has done is like nothing after the next few days. He acts as if nothing happened. Who knows what could happen if I just weren't religious
I recently decided to act civil with him. However, I don't try to converse in conversation and I genuinely don't want to talk to him anymore. I thought I was wrong for holding grudges but after all his bullshit, I don't think it's possible for me not to anymore.
I know I need to forgive him again and again but I'm tired of doing so. If I don't talk to him im get shouted at. If I do I get shouted at. Granted he does have his morals and his moments, but damn his lack of respect for his children, the constant ignorance of what I do for him, and all the other crap, I don't even want to try talking to him anymore.
I was told that for some people, the regret of not fixing the relationship they had with their parents drowns them every day. They say that they wished they were able to tell their parents that they forgive them. But for mine, maybe there's nothing to forgive because they "don't have anything to apologize for".

22F, 140 lbs, Crohn’s disease but take stelara for it.
On 1/10 I had a mirena IUD put in under anesthesia. 1/17 (yesterday), I had it removed due to it being malpositioned and extremely low in my uterus. The severe pain I was nearly experiencing for a week finally went away but I was given dilaudid.
Woke up this morning to that same exact pain I thought went away but have been passing blood clots the size of golf balls. I am pretty sure I am on my cycle but this has never happened to me before.

 | Is their real discourse around this card or is this just one youtube guy (the chubby guy with the wanna be Samoan hairdo) talking? I’ve seen clips of his reposted on twitter complaining about Luke being OP & noticed the way they worded the latest OTA, on his section “we’re going to find a better division of labor to some of his roles in the future”. But I’ve not seen anyone actually complaining about it like they did with say, Arishem. Does anyone think this is actually a good idea? I understand he does counter an entire archetype but if you split his abilities between more than one card, the meta will literally be nothing but afflict. He’s a tech card that can be countered w/ a tech card (rouge, RG or Enchantress). That’s the happy medium the game has always operated in. If you needed say, two different cards to protect all your cards from being hit with negative power by your opponent, that puts all non afflict decks at such a severe disadvantage. At that point the game just becomes Pokémon & cards are attacking each other. That’s not how the game has ever worked. Anytime there’s been a card, a combo or even a whole archetype that overly affected players ability to meaningfully play the cards in their deck, the nerf the shit out of it. White Widow, Darkhawks whole build, storm-legion, even with mill they make an effort to not put a ton of point power on the cards themselves. There’s no way they don’t see this right?
