I read it. It’s a good idea to use silicone conformal coating. Nine or 10 years ago when I built my first drone, I used liquid electrical tape, which you can then peel off if needed for any repair repairs. Is that a thing these days or does everybody use the silicone conformal coating?
How does that work if you need a repair? Does it affect re-soldering?

Ok so I’m coming to the end of a very productive counselling process. In which I’ve written over 15,000 words in notes. A few weeks in I felt compelled to hand these over in printed form and did for two weeks and then even though I had them prepared, I didn’t and haven’t sinced. As my words grew and I didn’t share them it seemed like more of an imposition to give them. Any therapists out there.? What do you think? I feel like I want to share my words that I can’t say but makes me Feel sick for over sharing and imposing? Like I’m Imposing and taking over your time??

A question that’s often asked here by finsubs is how to properly budget. To everyone’s credit, the advice and opinions being offered are usually sensible ones. I won’t repeat them here, because I’m sure we’ve all read them multiple times. But also it’s because I’m ashamed that I’m a reckless finsub when it comes to budgeting. Why do I say that? Because I don’t budget. I always get caught up in the moment spending and when I regain my clarity, that’s when I survey the damage.
For instance, by the end of any given night, I won’t stop myself until I’ve spent a healthy four-figures. I think there’s some psychological barrier when it comes to four digits. Because I can throw around money up to $999, feeling like it’s nothing. But once I see I’ve hit $1000, that’s when my rational mind starts to put the brake on things. Unfortunately the euphoria of being a finsub usually overpowers my logical side until I’ve spent well over $1000.
After I’ve managed to stop for the night, that’s when my “budgeting” comes into focus. I know budgeting after the fact is missing the point, but I suppose it’s better than nothing. So that’s when I log into my bank account to check my balance and assess the financial damage. And when I inevitably see a six-figure balance, then I think “I’m good. I’m ready to go again tomorrow.”
