You all are hating on Team Cherry right now because of the troll, which is understandable, but holy crap, y’all are going too far. Tbh, who cares if they’ve been silent? You should be glad they haven’t just canceled the game entirely. And I know what you’re gonna say blah blah blah, something about how they’ve been disrespectful but man, y’all have been disrespectful to them. You guys have been practically stalking them. They can’t say anything without it “secretly being Silksong news.” You’ve dehumanized them, so honestly, it’s on you for getting trolled.
And also, get off Leth’s back, man. He’s trying his best. He can’t say anything about Silksong unless William or Ari explicitly say he can tell us. And no, they don’t have secret connections with Nintendo. Leth interacting with fans and talking to his community isn’t “pandering for damage control.” Just accept that it probably won’t release for a bit and remember that every day they take, Silksong gets better.

Has anyone out there heard anything/had experience with Rowan Prose Publishing? They've made me an offer but I want to make sure I'd be signing on to a quality shop before I put my manuscript in their hands. They're quite new (started in Jan 2024) so I know we can't expect a long list of achievements or epic sales, but I'm hoping people out there have some info about:
- editorial quality - are they happy to go to the mats to make good changes or do they focus on quick fixes to get the book out the door?
- distribution - where do they place physical copies? Chain stores? A few small shops? Their website sales only?
- sales numbers - for the books they have published so far, are there sales numbers available? Many of their covers and blurbs haven't appealed to me and I'm concerned the same treatment may impact my own future sales (judging a book by it's cover and all that).
- author experiences - might be wishful thinking, but I'd be grateful if any writers who have interacted with them could give me some sense of their experience. Frustrating? Fruitful? Collegiate?

I just got my JS22-7 AHSB and I was super hyped. This guitar would be amazing if it weren't for the material some of the screws are made of. I went to adjust the saddle height and I put the tiny allan wrench they provided in the hole and started to turn and literally watches on the first turn as the metal, or whatever it's made of, just came off with hardly any torque at all. Just immediately, silver shavings everywhere. Very apparent on the matte black body. Also, the little screws on the faceplate for the truss rod, exactly the same thing. I had to be really careful to even get the plate off. It was like I was using an impact driver, that's how easily this material was shorn off. This is super disappointing because I really like to setup my guitars when I get them as I am conditioning the fretboard and restringing, etc. So, basically without being able to adjust the saddle height I can't really adjust the action at all until I get a new bridge and that is out of the question for a while because I am depressingly poor and this was a big deal for me to save money to get this cheap guitar. I knew about the issues to expect with the nut and bridge, but I guess I didn't see anything about the screws being completely dysfunctional and falling apart immediately.

Assalam-o-Alaikum! I am a convert sister here seeking guidance from other sisters, specially married ones. As I am learning about Islam and embracing it more and more, I am realizing that a wife can not refuse her husband intimacy unless we are on our periods or during illness? I am extremely accepting of because we women also have our needs so it is not just one sided.
My husband inject himself with testosterone every two weeks because he was a strength athlete and now he has to be on TRT. This causes him to get sudden bursts of sexual arousal during which he craves me. When you are on these injections, then it is often not a steady increase in sex drive but extremely rapid build up which needs to be addressed urgently.
For example, if we were driving from Florida to MD and after crossing into Virginia, he started speeding up. I asked him what is the hurry and he wanted to get home really fast so that we can satisfy each other. There was still quite some ways to go so he frantically started searching for a hotel nearby on GPS. After that he took the exit into Fredericksburg and got a hotel for 100 USD so that we could take a road break. He dragged me in there (figuratively speaking) to make love to me and then showered to be on our way. He could have waited 3 more hours but when he wants it then he wants it.
Similarly, I was traveling at a fundraiser with a few Muslim sisters. I was 3 hours from where we live and he called me to ask me when I was coming back. I told him that I will come tomorrow and he was like "tomorrow is too far away." He tells me "I am on DepoTest so you need to understand my needs." Then he said he is coming over. He drove over with rose bouquet and tells me to be a good Islamic wife. I did not have a room of my own to "host" him so I asked the other sister if I could have 45 minutes with him? I lied to her that we had an argument and he is coming over to make it up but people are not stupid. She gave us our moment but she figured out why he was there. It was embarrassing because women talk and your personal business is not your personal business anymore. I am unable to even explain his medical situation to everyone because it is confidential.
He has done this one time earlier as well when I was giving a seminar in NY and he showed up in the middle of the night to my hotel when he was getting his testosterone driven "wife cravings." As a Muslim woman I understand that it is my duty to be there for him and as a wife I appreciate the attention. It gives me the assurance that I have someone who is loyal and I thank Allah SWT for that.
But I am thinking how do I manage this? He wont because after those injections he is not himself. It is chemically altered behavior and it would be up to me to enforce some conditions. This would mean saying no but I am afraid that besides being impermissible in Islam, it may not even be good for our marriage. He will feel rejected and turned down and it is not his fault that he has been on those injections.
Secondly I am thinking if I should even manage this or am I better off accepting it and building a life around it? It is chemically altered behavior but it has no side effects other than social weirdness in some situations. I am thinking if I should just let this go the way it is?
I just want to ask married sisters, if your husband was acting like this then what would you do as an Islamic wife? I thank you in advance for all your replies inshAllah. And yes if anyone has medical advice then that would also be appreciated inshAllah.

I have 25k HELOC -8.5% My cash flow is $600 a month because my mortgage payment is 39% of my monthly income. It seems crazy to refinance when I’m so close to paying it off and my interest is so low. I’m concerned the HELOC would actually cost me more if I tried to use it.
