2025.01.19 02:24 Worth-Rich-9745 JAE chances- serious regrets everytime I think about it
Hi everyone this is my first post here. Basically I submitted the JAE form last week as everyone did and im honestly just so annoyed that even the arrangement of each school you put in which order matters.
Like I already spent so long worrying about results and I thought I could finally relax after it but now im busy worrying so bad about whether or not I can get into my top 2 choices.
Ok so basically my results were pretty meh. I got nett l1r5 of 15 and l1r4 of 11. The thing is I put TMJC as first choice with MLEP so I can get another -2 and meet the COP of 13 for arts. But now people say I probably won’t get because my raw is 17 and there are a lot more people who did better than me applying.
Then for 2nd choice I put Temasek poly Law N management which has a COP of 4-11 and seeing as my score is 11 I JUST NICE meet the COP so people also say chances may be slim especially if they choose to decrease the COP this year.
Basically I’m just super stressed because I feel like maybe I should’ve put poly before JC because I have a better chance of getting into the course I want and not the jc I want? And now I’m scared because I put it as 2nd choice I probably won’t get it because it’s a pretty popular course and I think a lot of people would’ve put it as their first.
I also want to ask if anyone can help what are the chances I get into either one? I’m really so scared and I can’t even enjoy myself during these last few months because I just keep worrying. Also if I don’t get either I’m gonna appeal for law in tp or do DAE but not for jc bc I heard it’s pretty useless to appeal for jc as the success rate is really low, so does anyone have tips on that?

 | Hello! This is my first large-ish tank (20 long) and I'm really loving it's look so far. I found this subreddit and a few FB groups and fell in love with the heavily planted look. I want to add more to my tank, but I don't know if I should or what to add. I don't remember all of the plants' names that I have so far, but what I do remember are: Onion Plant Banana Plant Cardinalis Dwarf Hairgrass (just planted, will get more to spread it out) Crypt Wendtii There are a couple of others in there that I can't remember. I'm considering a red tiger lotus and/or red dwarf lily. I would love any suggestions for other plants that would look good. Or should I just get more of what I already have? Hello everyone! I’d just would like to say I’m super happy with starting to work at my credit union I got hired at since Tuesday. I know next week I’m going to training for 2 weeks but so far the crew + Head teller and Branch Manager are so excited that my wife is having baby #2 “Due on March 22nd” to the point they ask me if I need diapers, wipes and all sorts of stuff for #2! I’m just glad I did say that I’m expecting before I signed the job offer and they were very understanding and happy I was honest.
I know it’s a lot to learn and a lot to process but I’m just super excited to take it all in and soak it up like a sponge. Any tips for a new teller and what I should expect in general?

Finished it and all except for a med room with an automated sentry(forgot what they're called). Isabella sustained injuries so I morphed. Everything is on fire so I left as I didn't want Isabella to perish in the flames after I went back. I went back but my injuries were still there. What was that?

(i'm saying this as a woman myself) I feel like i've seen so many girls with "yooneek" names like "PyncDaisi" , "Marshawnessa" "Golden" "Chinolaley" "Roemellie" etc, compared to boys. is it just me or does anyone else think people consider girls' names as more playful/cutesier than boys names?? when your daughter grows up, and has to work as a woman in a male-dominated society, do you really think people (especially men) are going to take her seriously?? (sexism based off someone's name is clearly wrong, but still could happen) you're not just naming an itsy bitsy baby princess.
obviously i've seen a fair share of questionable boy names as well, but i feel like people are a lot more reserved with them

I was watching movies with my family and I noticed that many words are not said in Malayalam, but said instead as an English word with an accent. For example, enikku orru APPLE tharramo? My family also says this as well. Is there an underlying reason as to why English words are common, or is it just how the langauge evolved? Thank you!
