It happens to me all the time, I’ll wake up a few minutes before my alarm is set to go off, even though I really could use those extra minutes of sleep. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it just a coincidence, or is there something our bodies are doing to prepare for waking up? Would love to know if others experience this too!

So yeah like the title says, I feel like outside of this sub, the moment you even mention that you enjoy the game you get hit with either “yeah well you’re woke” or “you just don’t know what good game are”. It’s to the point where I don’t even mention DAV at all outside this sub because I know that the response is going to be negative. People can have their critiques, but I feel like it’s very rare that you find someone that can have a normal conversation about this game outside of this subreddit. Then you’ve got people who want to ruin everyone else’s fun by coming to this subreddit to be a dick like they don’t already have 4+ other subs they could have their hate boner in. So yeah I love this game, it’s probably my second favorite DA game after DA2(I know, I like the 2 most shat on DA games the most). I do also want to say that this community is a joy to be around and it’s great to be able to share my enthusiasm with others like when I make my 500th rook in the 4 days.

I want to digitize my families slides. I'll only need a slide scanner for that purpose. I have an old Microtek Scanmaker V6 that has the slide/negative attachment. I would like subscribe to Vuescan Professional but I am worried about a hassle canceling the subscription. If I have to buy the software then I might as well buy a stand alone product for a few dollars more. Advice?

It’s been a wild week for me, so decided not to do much tonight expect chill, some really lovely tunes, a fine cold drink 🥃 and perhaps in some good company! Yeah… I’m talking about you! If you’re up for it that is, haha.
Not a whole lot about me that I can put out here except that I love to travel, books, good shows/movies, even foreign films with French being my top fav, Spanish and Italian next. I’m a huge fan of blueberry pancakes, Italian espresso ☕️and can never say no to hot chocolate in a freezing cold day!
