This is probably a stupid question, but I am 47 and experiencing some weight gain. Recently had a physical and bloodwork is all good. I track my food and know I am not eating more than I have for years, exercise is the same. I still have a perfectly regular period. How do you know you are in perimenopause? I am wondering about HRT for the weight gain, assuming based on my age I am probably in perimenopause. Does this sound correct?

I recently got a personal loan with lending club for 13k a month ago for an emergency. I will be paying it off in under 5 months. I was wondering if there’s a chance to get an auto loan with navy fed with a new loan opened or if anyone else has done it before? 2025.01.19 03:01 Easy_Bake_Epix1365 Overly Ambitious Passion Project I Am Creating

Before I say anything, this is not a self-promotion or advertising piece. I just wanted to vent to the community about a project I am creating.
Since August 2024, I had this random revelation come to mind and it inspired me to create what I am doing now: I am creating a 9-episode action miniseries as a passion project for school. As an aspiring filmmaker, The goal I had in mind was to test the limits as to what media arts students at my high school can make as well as making one of the school’s most popular and memorable pieces of visual media made. It’s all going to be in live action, which might be a ballsy move, but I’m going to give it the best I got. If people want to know what it’s about, this is the summary of what I made
“Three high school students “Richard, Andrew, and Marco” fight against hard drugs and substance abuse after one of their friends face a tragic incident. Noticing a sudden epidemic that is taking the lives of young high schoolers, Richard’s group takes into action and apprehends many drug dealers which leads them into a bigger conspiracy. A young and conflicted student “Tyler,” is thrown into the midst of this conflict after having ties with a friend connected to a criminal organization.”
It may not be the most riveting storyline, I’d even go as far to say it’s generic, but it’s based on a smaller project I did last year. This is basically a reboot/remake of that small project on a slightly larger scale, as well as it being easier on the resources. I have the media arts teacher and an English teacher backing me up as well as a few friends in on the project as well, but when we start with “production” we’re going to try and scout out some fellow students from the theatre club as actors.
As for the progress, this project will probably extend into my next year of high school considering the scale but I’m about 85% done with the full story of the project and I’ll need to at least write screenplays for it because what is a proper series or movie without a script? As for production, it will only be during times where it doesn’t interfere with my classes since my own education is more important for my future than a passion project (meaning that it will be worked on after school, during school when I have a free period, or during after school club.) When I am finished, I am hoping to promote it across my school which is the hard part, but me and the media arts teacher will figure that out eventually.
That’s basically the gist of it without sounding like I’m promoting a fundraiser, collaborative project, or an ask me anything post. I just wanted to vent about something I am passionate in making!

Is there a way to preserve this 90s Trek 8500 incredibly unique but also bubbling paint job? Upon further inspection of the frame after removing most of the parts this paint job seems prone to chipping due to VERY tiny hairpin bubbles from the nature of the unique paint job. There are a lot of little areas to touch up the paint (pretty minor chips & dings with no rust anywhere) and I’m wondering if theres any reason not to just touch up the chipped areas vs. stripping the whole frame and giving it a completely new paint job. Some of the areas the paint has flaked away more than others exposing bare aluminum. See the area where the kick stand was clamped to. Luckily I caught it all before any rust.
