2025.01.19 03:07 EmbraceTheFault "Marry Me" Chicken
So I'm sure like many of you, food is one of my love languages. The amount of effort I put into making delicious food for my family is a way of showing my dedication to them. My wife's birthday was a couple of days ago, and every year she asks me to make "Marry Me" chicken (basically a Tuscan chicken).
You need:
Olive oil, 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (you can brine them the day before for extra juicy chicken), coarse grain salt (I use pink Himalayan), black pepper, 1 tsp. dried oregano, 3 Tbsp butter (I use Kerrygold, its amazing and its real butter), 3 cloves garlic, minced (plus or minus to your taste, personally I love garlic), 1 1/2 c. cherry tomatoes, halved (grape tomatoes will work in a pinch), 3 cups baby spinach (again, adjust to your liking) 1/2 cup heavy cream, and 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan. Double these if you want enough sauce for a hearty helping of your favorite pasta too.
Dry your chicken and season both sides with salt, pepper, and oregano. Use a skillet that is ok for the oven. Heat the skillet at medium for about five minutes, add your olive oil. Sear both sides of chicken for about 2 minutes each, then put in the oven for 30 minutes at 375F. Adjust time for larger or smaller chicken breast.
Halve your tomatoes, mince your garlic, and dice your spinach while your chicken is cooking. To me, its more visually appealing if the spinach is cut longways. Once the chicken is done, set it on a plate to the side to start resting. In the pan you cooked the chicken in, melt your butter and add your garlic, give the garlic about 30-45 seconds in there until you can smell it cooking. Add your tomatoes, season with salt (and pepper if you'd like). When those are starting to blisteburst and you're getting a layer of tomotoey goodness in the pan, look to your resting chicken...you should have a nice puddle of juicy goodness forming...add that to your pan, it adds a ton of flavor. Throw in your spinach and let that go until its just starting to wilt and darken a bit. Once the spinach wilts, add in the heavy cream, parmesan, and any other chicken juice on your resting plate. Stir that all together at lower heat to a simmer and let it reduce for about 3 minutes. Once reduced, add your chicken back in to warm back up.
You can serve with a little bit of lemon juice for added acid, its a rich sauce.

 | Hi everyone, I'm based in UK I just moved to a new flat in London which has underfloor heating (unvented indirect cylinder). The system is branded Polypipe and I'm absolutely not an expert in plumbing/UFH. As I'm completely new to UFH, I started reading here and there to learn how to use the control unit and trying to understand if everything is working correctly. I noticed there is pressure in the zone I have activated via room thermostats, as the pressure indicators move accordingly. Although there are several LEDs turned on with red colour. One of the zone pressure indicator for some reason, after around 5 minutes, start to go in a loop (on and off), max pressure to zero and so on until I shut off the system (I guess this is not healthy for the pumps?). Attaching some image for reference. I've probably to call the property manager to send a plumber to get the system checked, but I'd like your opinion before going that route. Thank you very much in advance for any help. I’m new to leather work doing the math to get it right is a challenge for me. I’ve gotten a few templates but I’ve always found myself wanting to do it a little differntly.
I’ve found a simple bi fold card holder I like with a pocket on either side. I want to be able to put say up to 5 cards on one side. How much larger would I need to make a pocket To be able to fit that?
I know they say 4 in wide is appropriate to fit a card plus an 1/8 stick line. Would I need to go wider than 4in?

2025.01.19 03:07 HiddenEclipse121 Hard time drilling through hardened steel w/ carbide bits
I was hoping the good folks here at metalworking could help me out with an issue I'm having. I recently bought a Wen drill press and some full carbide bits so that I could drill through some hardened steel knife blades. I am currently running into an issue where the bits are skipping and aren't cutting the material. These bits are solid carbide, should be at least, and I'm trying to drill a 13mm hole through 4mm thick material. I started with a 6mm carbide bit, and then the 13mm bit. Both skated and wouldn't grab any material, and when it would, it wouldn't cut well at all. I tried with only the 6 on one piece, and only the 13 on another piece as well, and they both are having issues cutting material. The drill press is being used at its lowest setting at 700rpm.
The knife blade I was testing on was D2 steel at about 61hrc. From all of the research I've done, this should be 100% more than enough to drill through 4mm thick material whether or not its the 6mm or 13mm bit. I am at a total loss. I managed to only get a small dimple in the material after 10 minutes of drilling. I am definitely using the correct amount of pressure as well.
Any help would be awesome. I don't know if my drill press just isn't rigid enough or what, but I purchased this set up for this purpose exactly, and am not very happy that I am unable to do the intended task.

I have a pihole and cloud gateway max, and I'm trying to set up the following 2 scenarios with DNS:
Kids devices:
- Adblocking
- Malware Blocking
- Adult Site Blocking
- Additional Custom Block List
- Works with multicast devices in the main VLAN
- Adblocking
- Malware Blocking
1.1.1.3, I accomplished 2 & 3 but lost multicast ability (Airplay to the Denon stopped working immediately). Because DNS was now skipping the pihole and the Unifi gateway, I lost adblocking (pihole) and custom block list per client (unifi gateway). I think I can accomplish everything but 5 by setting up another pihole which uses
1.1.1.3 (or similar), but I'd still have to fight with multicast and getting pihole's custom block list working correctly. I'd also have to run another pihole which.. meh.Is there any way I can route things cleanly to accomplish all the goals?

I'm a bit split on this myself. On one hand, I get when things aren't working you want to try something different, but sometimes I get really frustrated because it seems players don't get the chance to build chemistry or work their way through out of a slump with their regular linemates.
Looking at some of the line stats I see some teams have much more regular top lines, even if the team is struggling.
What's your take?

J'ai dû laisser tomber ce livre, car il était gênant à lire dans cet état. Mon exemplaire était un peu bon marché aussi, donc j'ai pensé que c'était un oubli spécifique à ce tirage.
L'histoire est restée dans ma mémoire, pourtant, car je voulais savoir comment elle finissait. Alors, deux ou trois ans plus tard, quand j'ai commencé à étudier l'italien à l'école, je me suis souvenue de ce livre-là et l'ai retrouvé pour le lire en ligne… Mais hein, en italien, c'était la même chose ! Donc je l'ai encore abandonné : lire dans une langue étrangère avec des omissions de ponctuation était presque impossible et aussi un peu improductif (je devais lire de bons exemples d'italien pour pratiquer).
Cette fois-ci, j'y suis retournée en sachant que ce problème était-là, mais je voulais quand même lire quelque chose de plus léger. Finalement, après presque une décennie, j'ai compris que ce n'était pas une erreur : l'intention de l'auteur était de rédiger les dialogues dans un style de flux de conscience. Pourtant, la technique est un peu mal exécutée, étant utilisée partout dans le texte d'une façon assez incohérente.

Hi so I’m not a big Reddit user by any means but I know you guys are quite knowledgeable and I need some help/reassurance. Before I start I would like to mention that I am a minor and am not able to drive yet. so my parents are divorced and I was gone from my mothers house for ten days due to the switching schedules. So I don’t have any idea what my cat was like at the start of this whole ordeal but from what they say he was much worse. My cat had a urinary blockage and allegedly it passed but that was four days ago and he has only somewhat gotten better. I just got back to my mother’s house yesterday and I’ve only seen a little improvement in his demeanor, he refuses to eat and has lost at least 5 pounds if I had to guess. My parents won’t take him to the vet because of how expensive it is and they never like to listen to me. I have heard that cats with this usually die within three days, and im lucky that he is still alive, but im scared that maybe he’s just taking longer?? My parents are not as knowledgeable as they think they are about pets, and in the past few months I have lost 2 pets(and my dogs unborn puppy) to their neglect. It is hard for me to trust them when they say they know what they’re doing. Can anyone with experience tell me if my cat is going to be okay? Is it normal for them to be like this days after the issue? Please help, I’m very stressed and I need my cat to be okay, if there’s also any home remedies that I could use that would be nice, we are also already switching his food to wet food. I truly try my best to keep my animals alive, but my parents are very bad with taking our animals to the vet at all and it’s extremely frustrating.
