You guys, I cried š Maria's voice when she says, "I'm not part of anything, anymore." and then her single line of tears when she manages to summon her white tiger?? It was absolutely gutting to go through that memory of Richter, Maria and Tera spending time together, and then cut back to her looking so frazzled and devastated. And just remembering that her life has fundamentally changed and they can never go back to what it was.
But also seeing the area around Juste and Mizrak and the implication that they'd been trying to fix her magic for quite a while was so touching š he really is gunning for that grandpa of the year award!!
IMO it was the perfect aftermath sequence to everything that happened with the Abbott!!

This is far from a controversial view but I just love the way they did Lexieās character. As opposed to every other non-attending doctor in the show, sheās good, and she knows sheās goodābut she never feels the need to compete viciously for procedures and surgeries (except the time when she panicked in the merger lol).
In surgeries, when the attendings are like ācan you go and update the family,ā the interns/residents seem like itās the worst thing in the world, but Lexie never acts like itās anything beneath herāitās just a part of her job! She cares, and maybe itās because she has confidence in her skill as a doctor (but so did Cristina, and she was out for blood), so she doesnāt constantly need to prove it.
TLDR I love her character so much, but especially in the contrast she was to literally every other intern.
