I was exposed on December 27 and started taking PEP 66 hours later, on December 30. I am now on day 21, with 7 days remaining. I’m curious about the side effects others are experiencing. Personally, I have manageable diarrhea, but the dehydration is extreme. I usually drink about 2 liters of water a day, but now I’m consuming 4 to 5 liters and frequent urination which is again manageable, but I also have extremely dry lips and mouth.
I consulted my doctor and he said that this is normal. However, when I checked Reddit, I didn’t see anyone mentioning dehydration, burning lips, or mouth issues. I don’t have cold sores or any other STIs—just irritation in my throat and lips, as well as dry lips. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms?

Basically I've am studying for my degree part-time. I currently have a job but I want to start look for an actual career.
I applied for a job a couple weeks back which was full time. This works for me, as I would then study for my degree on my weekends. But this would mean I wouldn't finish my degree for another 1.75 years.
I got offered a job interview this week and when I was looking back over the job advert as prep, I notice they also recently put an advert up for the same position but part time.
I'd would much prefer the part time role, as it would mean I could still start a career but would also mean I could finish my degree in a 9 months
When would be the best time to ask if I could he considered for the part time role instead?
I have to ring them next week to schedule a time for interview and was thinking of bringing it up then? Or should I just wait for the interview? Or just see if they even offer me the job in the first place?
Also I don't want them to think I'm just wanting a stop-gap job while I finish my degree. My degree is stem whereas this job is property management, so not really related.
I've been doing my degree for 4 years already and have lost all my love for it, but at the same time would like to complete it just because I've put so much time in it and not looking for a stop-gap and am genuinely applying for this job as a potential career starting point.

Okay birth control nerds, I need your help here. I’m coming off HBC and am trying to find my way with nonhormonal methods. I have used the diaphragm, Contragel, and male condoms all coupled together. But now I’m wondering what the effectiveness looks like with male condoms and Contragel only. A quick Google search states contraceptive gel as 86% effective, but is that the Contragel on its own? I know that its effectiveness is usually reported assuming that the diaphragm is being used in conjunction always. Then, spermicides are reported as around 70% effective alone, but that’s a whole different thing since spermicides and contraceptive gels are in different classes. The Contragel website states that the gel can absolutely be used together with condoms and that it’s one of the most common inquiries they get. They also say that the effectiveness of this coupling is hard to quantify so they don’t exactly know. This study reports that Contragel and nonoxynol-9 both give the same effectiveness when used with a diaphragm. I think this shows a win for Contragel. I love this source on doubling up birth control and it reports male condoms + spermicide together as 99.7% with perfect use and 96.1% with effective use. I guess what I’m wondering is: does it stand to reason that Contragel and male condoms together are the same efficacy as that reported 99.7%/96.1% with spermicide? I like my experience with Contragel so far. It hasn’t irritated me, it does make things smoother, it supports healthy pH, and some added protection is always nice. I’m just wondering if it’s actually worthwhile to keep using and if it would get me that high effectiveness rating.
