I’m just worried about her behaviour. I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary and I’ve been very loving towards her. She does come up to me every morning and get pets which she loves. She’s at least 16-17 years old and is not very active, though she does play with me with the flying toy on a string sometimes and has a good time. Recently though, she’s been more lethargic and especially sensitive. Any time I {gently} pick her up or softly pet her back she meows as if she’s in pain or something. Recently she’s been hiding in the corner under my desk as well as laying down in the litter box multiple times.

The storyline of FW and IF is absolutely fabulous, though I found the writing lacking in some parts. For example, some characterelationship developments, like Violet and Tairn. Violet seems way too snarky to Tairn the first days of their bond, which conflicts with her overall respectful personality (especially in her first year). And it doesn’t really evolve through the second book. I would have loved to see the way their bond developed and their friendship deepened over the challenges they faced together.
On the other hand, Liam might be one of my favorite characters. Everything from his congeniality, loyalty, and dragon-carving stood out to me as so colorful and endearing. Of all the secondary characters, he seemed the most real and vibrant to me.
Thoughts?

Apologies in advance if this is just a silly inquiry compared to the rest of the posts here--but it's bothering me.
I have astigmatism and had to wear prescription glasses since I was 3 years old. I have a lifelong subconscious habit that when I'm watching something, my left hand darts up and puts pressure on my left eye (outer corner, just below the eyesocket) with the pointer finger. I become aware of it only after hours of doing it or when someone points out. It's near impossible to not do it. I'm curious what this is and would this be harmful to me in the long run? Given I've been doing it my whole life so any effects should've occurred by now.
