 | First I just want to say sorry for the dirty mirror. It has been cleaned but I really did not want to take another picture. I haven’t had my hair done in nearly three years when I went blonde after a bad break up. It is currently very badly grown out bleach, my natural dishwater brown hair color, and lots of greys. As the title says, I have a hair appointment in the morning (I booked a four and a half hour time slot) and no idea what to do with it. Hey gang.
I've tried Googling this question but it's proved to be difficult given both "manual" and "PSOne Classics" refer to a lot of different things independently.
So I'm hoping someone here can field it.
I would like to know what file format the Manual is when creating a PKG file for PSX games. Typically I'm a physical media type of guy but for whatever reason I seem to have made an exception for my PlayStation experiences
(Maybe just having three gens of PS in one place, a PS1+2+3. PS6 if you will 😅 Is just too convenient)
But I digress.
So... yeah. If anyone knows what the file type and name is for Classics PKGs, I'd love to know also so I can populate my library so to speak

Another day where I had the same lesson. I went out to a music show for maybe the second time in a year. I've just been working a lot, a lot of social anxiety, and overall not feeling like going out. However I really love music and the energy of live music shows.
What I decided to myself this time is that even though I can imagine all kinds of great outcomes like being lifted out of my hum-drum life into some kind of whirlwind, I'm not gonna stress over it. What usually happened in the past is going out, hoping I'm gonna make this instant new scene of genuine friends not like most of the people I know, meet an amazing romance, be recognized for my true self who likes obscure music, etc etc, and then acting like a wallflower because I'm alone in a new place and getting really pissed off and not wanting to go again. I realized it's much better to just go and relax and enjoy the music and being in a scene I'm not really used to, and not feel obliged to do all this other stuff right now. That made me feel much more relaxed and have a good time and be willing to come back again. I even did make a little conversation with a few different people and learn about some different things going on in the scene.
This is something I've been discovering over and over again in 2024-2025, that doing what you feel drawn to without expecting unreasonable "instant results" is the way, because you know over time things will develop if you can stay more positive.

2025.01.19 03:53 Zebra_Opening I gotta get something off my chest...
 | There has been plenty of hate about these two movies and it really bugs me more than it should. I'd like to share my opinion, and of course it is just my opinion. One of the biggest complaints is that they don't like the look of the turtles. And while art is subjective, I'd ask, what exactly are six foot mutant turtles supposed to look like? It's artistic interpretation. I'd argue each iteration of the turtles has been different to a certain degree. I think they look great, and I really like the unique approach to each turtle. 2nd complaint is that Michael Bay ruined this movie the same way he ruined Transformers. First off, he only produced this movie. Rumor is that early in development, fans did not like the idea of Bay having his hands in it. And supposedly he was never named as a director. He was however a producer and while he may have had some say, it was Liebesman. I personally liked it, but I also went into it with my 12 year old hat on. Other complaints are of the story, casting Megan Fox, or the plot holes. While I'm not a Megan Fox fan, I think the cast was great. And one of the goofy plot holes is the downhill scene lasting just as long as the runway scene in Fast & Furious, but I would argue it gave a really stellar action sequence minus the 78 mile hill. I've been a fan of the turtles since the first comics, and each version that comes out has its pros and cons, but overall, it feels like the creators behind them really put their passion into it. I found these 2 movies such a refreshing take on the franchise and I dream one day of a 3rd film even though I doubt that will happen. In closing, I will leave you with a few of my favorite scenes. That downhill scene, as absurd as it was, was fun as hell. Raph being flung into the Humvee was killer. My favorite turtle Donnie getting to be the badass for once tickled me to no end. And Splinter blind fighting Shredder with Leo's Kitana was nuts, and my inner 12 year old was losing his mind. I tip my cap to the creators of these 2 movies.  | Hi all, I'm replacing the windows and doors at the back here with some new aluminum double glazed ones soon, and thought I'd do some area prep before I replaced them. In an attempt to create proper runoff from the back of the property, I've dug down as low as possible (any lower and water runoff will be stopped by the storm water pipe) and have subsequently realized that the lower level wall studs that act as stumps for the top level are concreted directly into the ground with soil pushed right up against them. I assume at some point, these studs were concreted around to create the slab for this bottom split level room, and the soil was pushed the up against the concreted slab which has subsequently meant its halfway up the studs, hence the rot. Before reinstalling the windows and doors, I'd like to fix this issue, then reclad with colourbond so it's a little more weather and time resistant. My current plan is: Prop the balcony/internal beams one at a time. Cut the stud to the current concrete slab level minus about 55mm. Formwork and concrete (with rebar tie in) the newly created slab holes. After 24hrs of drying, span a 10mm thick 4130 base plate and a 45mm thick timber piece across the hole to be dynabolted into the existing concrete slab on either side of the hole for the studs to be skew nailed into. Make up any shortage with stud packers. While my currently plan isn't necessarily difficult it's more tedious than I had hoped for what was initially meant to just be a few windows. Has anyone had experience with something similaany idea regarding how to rectify this issue with a simpler solution noting I'd prefer not to rely on the currently rotting wood below the slab level for obvious reasons.
