We lost my brother, age 56 after 3rd dx of Cancer. He fought long and hard for 6 years and unimaginable pain. He lived with my elderly parents for 15years helping to care for them. For more context, my mother's sister has always been self centered and hurtful towards my mother but my mother has always asked me to keep peace. 2 days before my brother's death, he is lying on the couch under Hospice care (had yet to receive hospital bed) and is only partially responsive at this point. My aunt calls my mother crying because her husband (equally self centered and greedy) is threatening to kill himself. My mother tried to console her but breaks down crying to me. My brother sadly passed away peacefully at home with our family the next day. We all went to funeral home and made arrangements for service and cremation and said final goodbye to his body. The same afternoon my aunt calls my mother about how happy she is she gets to pick up her suicidal husband from the hospital...all her fault because she wasn't taking her depression medicine. My mother tried to be supportive but broke into tears because her sob who fought to live was no longer here. Then final straw....my aunt did not attend the funeral after claiming to love her sister and her nephew. That was just the last straw after years of hurting my mother and being so clueless to anyone else's feelings. So I got her and her husband on the phone and told them how selfish and tacky their actions were and I wished them a long life with their greed and selfishness. The conversation became very heated, but they never acknowledged any wrongdoing, just reiterated all of the problems they were going thru. I told them both that I never wanted to lay eyes on them again...including any family functions, weddings or funerals..Ever. I told my mother what I had done...she understood and said she would always love me no matter what and that she wished she had the sassy to sag some the things herself, although she did not want to completely lose the relationship with her sister. AITAH?

I play several other tabletop wargames and I’m thinking of getting into collecting and painting Adeptas Sororitas models because they’re awesome and I’m enjoying some Adeptas Sororitas novels from the Black Library. But I’m thinking of playing One Page Rules with them instead of 40K. By all accounts, GW isn’t very good at writing rules and paying $5 total for rules beats paying around $100 for a rulebook and a codex. Has anyone played Sisters in OPR and if so, do they keep their flavor?

Perhaps the feelings I have now are strange and entirely contradictory—caught between joy and sadness, the past and the future, dreams and reality, hope and despair. It feels as though I am living in two parallel worlds, each pulling me toward it with equal force. I find myself smiling at a beautiful memory, only to suddenly feel a pang of sorrow for a loved one who is no longer with us.
Still, I look forward to the morning with the same anticipation I felt as a child, struggling to fall asleep while waiting for the morning of Eid. I would tightly close my eyes, clutching my clothes and toys, as if trying to embrace the happiness that was just around the corner.
And today, I find myself holding onto my memories with the same longing, awaiting the dawn.

2025.01.19 04:11 Objective-Hall-8473 LineaseOS22.1 on OdroidC4 - Wifi turned off
Hi I am a newbie to LOS.. I managed to install LOS22.1 on an Odroid C4 - during the installation and setup, I used a LAN cable to check if everything was working. However, now I need to use Wifi. When I goto Settings -> Wifi , the message is "Wifi is turned off". I know Odroid does not have a built in Wifi module, I connected an Asus Wifi Dongle to check if Wifi turns on - and Wifi is still off. Before I buy a Dlink DWA 171 or the Hardkernel 5B dongle, can I please check if this message of "Wifi is turned off" is normal? And when I plug in a compatible Wifi dongle - that Wifi should become "turned on" and show me the list of access points? I know this sounds basic, but before I go hunting just wanted to check if it is a settings issue in LOS22.1 ATV for the Asus Wifi dongle, or is this a compatibility issue for Odroid C4?

Hello! My wife and I just settled our divorce in which she was awarded her car. Car is currently registered to me and financed in my name alone.
She was awarded a portion of my retirement account in the divorce which she intends to cash out and use to pay off the car in full.
What are the order of operations here to get the car put in her name? Does she just buy the car from me then I pay off the loan with the current lender with the cashed out 401k then we she applies for a new title?

So I just got a normal PS5 disk version yesterday and noticed that when inserting a disk, it copies the whole game in order to play it . Is there a workaround for it ? I mean my console is nearly 600 GB and I wont be able to play a lot of games if it keeps copying the whole game to its storage . Does this also happen with PS4 games or can I get PS4 games and run them directly off the disk without copying them to the ps5 storage ?
