I'm planning to have a holiday in Napier soon and there's some stuff I hope you can help me with. The main problem is trying to book a hotel. There's this strip along the beach that's lined with hotels that are all more or less identical but which have quite a large variance in prices and it's hard to tell how the differences are justified. Different services? Included breakfast? I don't know. Does anyone have insight about this? The other thing is activities. I already have some things in mind such as the National Aquarium and an Art Deco tour. Is there anything else in particular I should do while I'm there? Thanks in advance for your help!

3 years ago, I was offered a hybrid role at a fintech company while working a WFH job in financial services. The new role doubled my salary and came with a generous sign-on bonus, so I accepted. I had strong reservations about the hybrid schedule and their plans for RTO at the time, and after researching the company, it was noted this had a big impact on its employees and the culture.
After attending my first day, I decided to resign immediately and return to my WFH job. The WFH role turned out to be a poor fit. Since then, I deeply regretted my decision to leave the fintech company.
Today, I’m in the job market again. A former colleague—now working at the fintech company—referred me to an urgent opening on his team and told me to apply ASAP. It's a perfect fit. However, it’s the same team and recruiter I worked with before. I applied for the role, but I’m unsure how to navigate the situation, given my history with the company. I still have old emails with the recruiter and manager (who also still works there) from that time, so I assume they probably remember me.
A couple questions:
- Should I disclose to my colleague that I briefly worked for the company in the past?
- Do I still have a chance of being selected for an interview, or would I likely be considered unreliable because of my past decision?
- If I am considered, how should I address my brief tenure and resignation during the interview?

One of the more interesting 2010s EDM OHWs. Strange, nonsensical lyrics and a brother-sister dynamic make this one quite memorable, whether or not you find it annoying or catchy.
This song fills the same void in my brain as that Cradles song that Sub Urban kid made in 2019 in the sense that it's an absolutely massive song (1.4 Billion views on YouTube) that gets zero discussion in the online music community. Its vibe strikes me as not quite Tumblr-era, not quite emo-adjacent, not quite Martin Garrix style.
Do you think this would make an interesting episode?

Mi pareja quiere irse de viaje a otro estado del país, y yo la verdad de momento no quiero viajar este año Pero ella quiere si o si, el problema es que yo no cuento con dinero y ella si, yo debería juntar alrededor de 20,000MXN para el viaje (cabe recalcar que eso es lo que ganaría en 5 meses) y ella quiere el dinero para el próximo mes y yo le había dicho que si un momento o se va de viaje sola o "con amigos" Pero sin mi, es un NO NEGOCIABLE terminar la relación y eso es algo que no quiero, ya que también dijo que si no junto el dinero no le importara y se irá. Me siento frustrado ya que ahora mi relación depende de cuánto gane :( y no quiero perderla, ya en dos días solicitaré un segundo trabajo para poder viajar con ella Pero se lo que me conlleva, no lo se, no sé nada en este momento.
