Our beloved boy Tito was taken from us by his lymphoma yesterday morning at just 6 years old. He was the biggest goofball ever & larger than life. He was diagnosed with large cell B-cell lymphoma just a week after his 5th birthday and we were told without treatment he would only last a few weeks. We gave him the best possible shot and brought him back 16 extra months of life before the cancer became completely resistant to all treatment & took him away. He did remarkably well while recieving treatment, experiencing little side effects and lived a completely normal existence until the very end. We were lucky enough to have pet insurance for him after losing our Cane Corso to dilated cardiomyopathy. I hope we made his short time on Earth one that was filled with the love, happiness & fun that he deserved. Our lives will never be the same without him. The hole in our hearts that he left is enormous. What an amazing experience it was owning a dogo argentino & having Tito be my companion for the past 6 years. Fuck cancer

I have to print out my 50+ page dissertation (A4, B&W, 25pgs double sided) and want to avoid conbini since they hiked the price.. not only that, there's a file size restriction and the app only allows PDF uploads - converting from Word messes up the format and my Uni is a bit strict on formatting. (I can't print on campus either because I'd have to prepurchase a 1000 page package for a hefty amount). A friend told me check Donki and Daiso, but they don't allow printing from an app yet. Seems like the Tsuruma library only has a photocopier for books (is this correct?). I went to Kinko's in Sakae, but seems that their printing products are not meant for simple documents (tried navigating the app and website but didn't see an option for normal documents).
Does anyone have any recommendations for a place to print things out?? I have about 9 days to find a place :( Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming it's the same in all of them. I adjusted the magnet distance to get more runway for power when I was actively training for sprinting. Now I'm back to just doing normal cadence and from the default power band could support me. I didn't mark the nut locations prior to adjustment and would like to get my watt numbers back up to where they were. Anyone able to prove the default distance from magnet to flywheel? Or distance to first nut on the magnet rod/shaft?

 | [Swatch 5755] I received this blue swatch as a gift sometime in the early 90s, either my senior year of HS or my first year of college. I don't remember what watch I was wearing before it (probably a black plastic digital or a Chinatown deal) but I loved my simple understated blue Swatch. It was well suited to college life and somehow despite being a great destroyer and mis-placer of things the blue Swatch traveled through life with me. It went to spring break in Mexico and even spent a semester in its Swiss homeland. Despite receiving a very fancy "real" watch for graduation and other stylish "fashion" watches as gifts along the way the blue Swatch remained My daily driver for many years. Because it was cheap and plastic, I never gave it much consideration. The blue Swatch blasted through house moves and renovations, rowdy pets and trips to the beach without a thought. I don't remember when I stopped wearing a watch daily, probably when I got my first smartphone or when the battery died. It sat in a box of odds and ends on top of my dresser since. Every so often I would come across it and think "I should get a new battery" but never bothered. A few weeks ago, I impulsively bought a simple canvas banded military-style watch I saw at a thrift store. I don't know why, I didn't go there looking for a watch but the simple drab and stainless $8 watch just felt right to me. I thought it might be nice to start wearing a watch again, and it was. (It's funny the only person who noticed is my work partner. She bet I would not keep it up so now it's a challenge lol) Today I ventured to the Swatch store at the KOP mall and they stuck a new battery in my old blue Swatch and polished up the banged-up plastic "crystal" for free. I've been going through some things in life lately and there is something comforting about seeing my old blue Swatch on my wrist again, ticking away like it's 1993. if you are still reading thank you, I know this sub is mostly about high-end timepieces but I just wanted to share my appreciation for this simple well-designed utilitarian watch that has lasted through 30+ years of life. Swatches have come a long way and this was a simple one back then but I think I love it now more than I did when I got my first "cool and stylish" watch way back. It's like an old friend. 2025.01.19 04:49 xanneep English portion of the SAT practice.... :( is the question bank enough + differences btwn digital SAT vs pen and paper SAT
so i took the practice test 6 the other day and got like one question wrong on the math segment then like a 670 on the english portion. i'm aiming for 1550+ so i definitely need to buff up my english but i despise the khan academy layout and i get psychic damage whenever i open an erica meltzer book since i can't necessarily pinpoint the skill i lack down to the tee esp for reading ( i fare a bit better with identifying it for grammar) would doing questions from the question bank be enough or do i have to suck it up and do the other two too.
also for the differences between digital sat and the paper sat.. does digital sat have like those long passages as seen in the paper sat or is it the same format as the practices on bluebook
