I nanny a friend’s 2 year old a few days a week. I’m supposed to watch him on Monday and Tuesday (today being Sunday), but she was sick with suspected norovirus Friday night into Saturday and went to the ER for Zofran and fluids. Assuming she’s feeling better (and her husband and son don’t get sick) and she goes back to work on Monday, how do I tell her I don’t feel comfortable watching her son? I know you can be contagious for several days even after symptoms go away.
I feel bad because she’s one of my best friends and I don’t want her to feel like I’m just leaving her high and dry, but I am absolutely terrified of catching it.
I have a kindergartener who just had RSV, then the flu, then a double ear infection. I am terrified to add norovirus to our list of winter illnesses. 😭

Well, hello. I have never really vent to anyone before usually i am the one listing bc I don't really have someone to vent to but now everything is starting to feel dark.i am usually very positive but it's just so dull now nothing feels happy. Why should I even be happy?
This whole life of mine is forced. Forced to eat, forced to dress, forced to talk, forced to study and everything I do in this life is forced. I am also a bully victim, yay! I didn't even report on it. I forced myself to be positive and help others and to not cry. I am honestly a doll getting handled by my parents.Today when I said that did not want to eat something after I had a few bites of it because my mother cooked it and didn't want to make her feel bad, but then she forced me to finish it all, they never understand that this force feeding made me develop an eating disorder. I said they don't even treat me as a human and my father laughed, he laughed at me. I have trauma from the bulling too and thoes laughters from before haunts me and today my father's laughter once again revived this trauma.
I don't wear dresses or skirts, I hate them bc of an incident. But everytime I tell my parents i don't want to wear it they will force me to, i feel insecure, disgusted and helpless. They never tried to understand me but they claimed they care for me. Do they? All this years i am only going down the path they are taking me down to. I have no hobbies too because they think it's a waste of time. My opinion or what I like just doesn't matter.
Ik this is very long and i don't expect everyone to read it. But whoever does, thank you. It means a lot to me.

But as individuals, we should be tolerant to an extent, instead of tolerant to a fault. By being accepting of every worldview, you accept contradictory ideals. How do you believe in both democracy and theocracy? Capitalism and Communism? Hate and Love? Polygamy and Monogamy? The simple answer is you don’t. By acknowledging that two opposing ideas are equally true you stand undecided on issues and stand for nothing. If both sides of the coin are equally valid you have no reason to fight for either. You don’t have values which you stand by. And when a society is filled with individuals who stand for nothing, a society of those who don’t believe in anything, you have a society that ultimately falls because people don’t have ideals to passionately live for. You have to be intolerant of something to believe in anything. Your intolerance draws the line for what your standards are. Now of course, if everyone holds strong views, this leads to a divided society that falls from fighting with each other, instead of helping one another grow. This is where humility comes in.
