2025.01.19 08:20 NamedFruit Jesus the Act 3 fights are such a slog
Leaders in enemy groups have OP damage and resistances, 7 out of 8 enemies has some kind of stun ability, handfuls of fodder enemies that aren't difficult but are annoying to take out and their turns take FOREVER to end, enemies placed far away from your team while your all grouped up, you'll always lose initiative even with initiative buffs for your team. Enemies have high saving throws and even fodder will 50% chance your melee attack.
The "big" fights have honestly been so unfun. Giths in Emperor's hideout, Cazador fight, the Bank Vault fight with stunlocking and invisible enemies, Auntie Ethel and her clones spamming insects and chaining ray of sickness while you have to run around the whole room taking out mushrooms in just one turn. The damn grease dude in the sewers with god damn 20 different minions that will each take their turn individually.
The quality of fights between act 1 and 2 compared to 3 is night and day. It's like they got burnt out and went "Idk just throw 8 more fodder enemies in there and give everyone all the resistances and stun spells."
It wouldn't be half has bad if the fights just didn't take so damn long. Can't believe they haven't given us a Rush Battle option with the state of this act. I can't keep sitting here waiting for the animation of these dudes take 5 steps every single turn.

2025.01.19 08:19 Hippopotamusbear Anxiety with complications anyone else? Patella 5 weeks post op
31M here, was hit by a speeding car while crossing the street and fractured my left patella on 12/10. Managed to get surgery at an outpatient clinic 3 days later, doc put together the pieces with screws and wire. Before the injury, I was doing Pilates and going to the gym multiple times a week, so being unable to stretch and move my leg has given me anguish.
I was allowed to bend and bear weight with my leg at full extension after my post op appointment on 12/26 and started PT on 12/30. Ever since I began PT, I have admittedly been testing the boundaries and deviating from the protocol. For example, I stopped wearing the brace to sleep after 2 weeks due to insomnia and definitely have bent while weight bearing a few times. I had also stopped using the walker around then. I surely may have taken many baths to help fall asleep as early as the 2-3 week mark, and in hindsight that might’ve put me at risk of infection. Otherwise, I’ve been diligent with PT exercises and am generally ahead of my milestones (which has possibly contributed to some recklessness). I can currently flex up to 120 degrees, and I feel virtually no pain during the day. However, I often wake up multiple times a night in pain from just extreme stiffness/soreness around my knee.
I find it hard not to overthink every ache or sign of stiffness, especially at night, and given that my friends (some of whom are doctors) have all been alarmed by my level of activity, I’ve found myself researching every complication and ruminating about the possibility of a major setback. I’ve been playing it extra safe now. My next post op appointment will be next Thursday (1/23). Has anyone else had similar experiences of worrying about complications and could share what has helped?

Hi there, I had an rog ally X, but had some headache with defective usb c ports and button problems, returned it. As i have series X and full year gamepass, I was thinking buying a tablet to serve as second monitor when my wife's using the big TV. And maybe use that tablet for couch playing like I did on Rog ally X. My phone streams anazing, but it is too small for the viewing, just 6.7" inch but the aspect ratio wont allow full screen. Plus i have unlimited data 5g now. Can you do some recommendations? Thanks
