I was dashing in the suburb I live in. A customer said to not pick up other orders before delivering to her because she paid extra to have her food hot. She lives maybe a mile from the restaurant and left a decent tip (and California has Prop 22 which makes waiting at some restaurants somewhat profitable), so I selected to pause orders and deliver hers.
I had others message me the same stuff with maybe $1 or $2 tip or no tip, and when my completion rate was 100 or 99, I'm like NOPE! and cancel. Ok, they are more likely to have a cold order now Should I tell them we are independent contractors and we do what is profitable for us?
This is a rare thing for me, but the other two times it happened in the last year before I came back from recovering from minor surgery, I chatted with support and said customer was extremely rude before I even got to the restaurant and I wasn't penalized with the completion rate and was given a canned apology. I also did this when a customer messaged me repeatedly about an alcohol order I accepted just before dropping off an order on a windy, mountainous road and told them I will go as fast as I safely can in the mountains. They still kept messaging me, and I pulled off into a fishing area and talked to support and got that order removed penalty-free.

Spawn into public server, see there are no vehicles left, server hop. See the same situation leave. Create a custom server, spend at least 5-10 minutes customizing a load-out you will never use. Spawn at FOB, get ammo and meds, head to quarry. Clear half of quarry just to see the precious metal truck failed to spawn. Head to Ronograd city, nearly get spotted by the 50 cal gunner. Steal the equipment truck. Head back to FOB, turn in truck, make walk of shame to the vehicle spawn area, get new vehicle. Drive back to city. While driving through city to get to naval die to an AT mine. Respawn, resupply, go back to city. Get to naval, instantly get spotted by a sniper. Lag hits so hard that he only dies after he alerts the base. Sigh a breath of abject failure as you steal a truck. Chug 5 bottles of Vicodin as you attempt to escape naval while getting blasted by rpgs. Congrats you got 1 precious metal and one fuel. Rinse and repeat a few times till you get so bored you successfully solo stealth ronograd city. Leave and decide to touch grass.

Call it what you want but this thing fucks hard. Yes the AR’s shot great and yes I hit steel more then they did. There was only one “black hawk down” build that kept up, using an acog. I love the series, and I can't wait till season 3 is released.
I am looking for someone to kindly volunteer to be my guide to transition from the series to the books.
Hopefully I will learn where to pick up in the books, any particular previous chapter that might be worth to re-read and maybe a bit of a breakdown I'm the differences between the tv series and the books.
Please no spoilers, I am loving the series and would like to keep myself spoiler free as to fully enjoy it.

It seems a major point of Alucard's character development in the first series is around the concept of finding his people and learning how not to be alone. This happens three major times over with him undergoing significant character development each time (Trevor and Sypha, Taka and Sumi, and Denasti.)
However, it seems that for no reason that's discussed he's reverted back into a lonely person in Nocturne. In the last episode he makes a comment about how it's great to be able to rely on people and not work alone. Hello? Didn't you already learn that a bunch of times? I'm not discrediting the obvious improvement he's made in befriending Leonardo Da Vinci, sleeping around, and many others during the skip but what is the actual point of his arc in Nocturne? He's basically just an NPC meant to shepherd the plot along with no real impact or development.
Am I missing something here?

When Jafar found out Prince Ali was Aladdin and pushed him into the river as a twisted test, Abu rode on carpet with the lamp in hopes to save Aladdin. As they got there, Aladdin was already in the river so Abu dropped the lamp in it.
Instead of taking a gamble that Aladdin would somehow be able to touch it and that Genie would be able to somehow help him, couldn't carpet have flown into the river and saved him?
We have no reason to believe that a sentient, magic carpet would have sensitivity issues about getting wet or being able to accelerate in liquid.
It just seemed like an excuse to get Aladdin use up his second wish. What do y'all think?
