2025.01.19 09:10 communads Can a Wildsea campaign go on for as long as a full D&D5e/PF2 campaign?
I just bought the book, and I'm very excited for this. I'm assembling a group of strictly 5e players, and I'm wondering how much room there is for player growth in this. D&D has a 1-20 level progression that can make a very long campaign. I'm looking at character creation in Wildsea, and the difference between a Young Gun and an Old Dog is just a couple aspects and languages. The total number of aspects also appears to be hard capped at eight. It doesn't seem like Wildsea is really meant for long campaigns with lots of character progression. Is my reading of this wrong, or could you easily hack a Wildsea campaign into a behemoth D&D-style campaign if you wanted to?

Sorry if this has already been posted but regarding Lisa being a priest I donât really understand a few things:
(I also havenât seen the last episode yet so bare that in mind please) - what does admitting to being a priest have to do with solidifying her as a faithful? I fail to see the connection as itâs literally a game where people lie and I just donât know what being a priest has anything to do with anything. Plus itâs not like she pulled out actual evidence? - the whole âas god as my witnessâ thing, firstly I donât understand how thatâs any different as taking the lordâs name in vain, and again is it something priests are only allowed to say? And what does this really have anything to do with wellâŠanything? - lastly just that sheâs allowed to be on the show to begin with, if sheâs a priest shouldnât her clergy come first? Is she even allowed to accept the prize money?

Over the last couple of years I've fallen down a rabbit hole of 3D printed guitar bodies and had an absolute blast.
I've had to overcome many obstacles and inherent issues with those of mode of manufacturing. Ranging from material choices, model design and so many other things.
I've consequently been able to take these instruments from an experiment, to a toy through to now... Some really goddamn cool instruments that are fantastic to play.
I make these guitars in a single piece and multi piece that are made available for almost anyone with a 3D printer to make and play themselves.
I have a pickup maker who was interested enough to start experimenting with a printed body and how to get the best sounds out of them.
I'm working my way towards raising awareness of alternative methods of construction for people to experiment with. I'm not here to convince anyone that polymer guitars are better than wood. But if I can generate a few more minds to consider something different... I'm happy.
Anyway, here is my fiftieth guitar body that I printed on a large format printer called a BigRep.
The manufacturer heard about it and reached out recently and used it in several social media campaigns... Generating even more interest.

I contacted miniclip both through its site and mail all I got was an automated reply that my account was banned permanently due to malpractice and exploiting the terms and policy of miniclip. I never did anything like that. I never cheated neither did I transferecieve coins by winning/losing on purpose with friends. Last weekend I noticed my 1 year old cat was acting differently so my boyfriend and I took him to the emergency vet on Sunday. They wanted to hospitalize him to keep him stable.
On Monday they called to tell me they thought he either had FIP or Cancer and that they wanted to do an ultrasound to see. The ultrasound specialist came on Tuesday and later that night we got the confirmation that it was lymphoma. We were given the option for a steroid that might keep him alive a couple more months, a surgery to do a biopsy and remove some of the mass, or euthanasia as the cancer would most likely come back after the surgery. We chose the surgery because it felt wrong to euthanize a 1 year old cat and we read some hopeful stories of cats living a few more years.
During the surgery the cancer was too advanced and the most peaceful way he could go would be under anesthesia so thatâs what we did.
It kills me that he spent the first months of his life in a shelter and his last few days in a hospital. I hope he doesnât think we abandoned him. We genuinely believed weâd see him again. I wish we got to say goodbye to him and he couldâve passed feeling our love. I just hope he was dreaming of us while he was asleep.

Rewatched some episodes of rtte after a long while. Rewatching it I realised that the twins and Snotlouts voice actors are totally the best tbh. Hiccups is pretty good too, but Astrids and Fishlegs one might be a bit constrained.

I'm sure this has been asked a million times, but seeing as it's been a quarter century since y2k, i figured we needed a check in. What is considered retro as of 2025? Is it the 15 year rule? Is it 25? Or is it whenever it stops being a useable modern device, for example. I have a 21 year old Dell Inspiron 600m that still works fine for web browsing and other things on tiny core Linux, but at the same time, I see the 750ti on retrobattlestations. Idk it's 3:08 am rn so lemme know in the mid-day.

About a month ago, I applied for a Windows Server analyst role at a local college. It was already a bit confusing since they opened the position right before the offices closed for winter so technically it didn't open until like 2 weeks ago, but I applied early anyway since these were the requirements.
- high school degree
- 2 years experience with Windows and Linux servers
- 2 years professional experience (college credit counts per 60 hours)
I just feel like there is no way they could have made this conclusion without withholding a requirement or they just didn't bother with my resume, but either way I've been trying to reach out to their HR to see if I can get some feedback, but I don't think I'd see a quick response given they've been dragging their feet for the whole process.
