I have a collections of CD’s that I would like to listen to on my iPhone.
Does anyone know if I can import the music on the CD’s to my MacBook Pro M1 (macOS Sequoia) and then synch with my iPhone 15 pro (iOS18) without paying for Apple Music?
I would like to know if this will work before I buy an external CD-drive or something.

Hi there!
As stated in the title, i want to reinforce my 1500 Point Army.
I followed the "Rule of Cool" and bought Stuff I liked and tried to create a fun army. I play exclusively with friends (Sororitas, Imperial Guard, Necrons).
My current 1500 Build (Gladius):
  • Squad 1 (1st Objective): Uriel Ventris + Company Heroes =190 Points
  • Squad 2 (Sticky Objective Home, then Fire Support): 1 Lieutnant with Fire Discipline+ 10x Intercessors=265 Points
  • Squad 3 (Deep Strike/ Attack Squad): 1x Librarian in Terminator Armour + 5 x Terminators (Storm Bolters + Assault Cannon)= 245 Points
  • Squad 4 (Deep Strike from Ventris/Fire Support): Lieutnant Titus + 10 x Hellblasters = 300 Points
  • Heavy Support: 1x Ballistus; 1x Redemptor, 1x Brutalis =500 Points
Now I am looking to expand to 2000 Points.
I don´t want to create a "Gotcha!" Army!
I just wanna expand my current list and continue to have fun at a great game, maybe join my first tournament this year.
As a uni-student, funds are quite rare.
So I stick to the rules:
  1. Max. one Box a month.
  2. No new models until everything is painted.
This of course means, that the 2000 Points will take some time to reach. So ideally, new models are able to "integrate" in a changed 1500 Points List, to try them out until the 2000 Point List is finished.
This leads to my Question: What models should I buy?
My Ideas include:
-a Whirlwind for Home Objective?
-Calgar or Chaplain + Bladeguard to have something in close combat?
-Roboute Guilliman?
-Eliminators?
-Land Raider?

2025.01.19 10:40 Masaters Surface for notetaking?

Hi, I would like unbiased recommendations surrounding notetaking. I will be attending uni (electrical engineering, 4 years) soon and wanted to switch from physical handwritten notes to digitally taking notes. I have no relevant experience with tablets/iPads/Surfaces.
Current devices: - Decent windows PC: enough for anything that an engineering degree would require. - 2017 MacBook air: used throughout highschool and uh its showing signs of age, wanted to upgrade to an M1 or m2, but don't see the need for it at the moment since I have my pc.
My usecases for tablet (in order of priority): 1. Notetaking + Annotations (such as pdfs, slides, mainly lecturer materials), solving problems (like math). 2. Watching videos, whether this be YouTube or recorded lectures (and maybe some cheeky Netflix)
I have considered eink; and it's not for me.
I was mainly considering iPads/Tablets, but I thought I would ask in this sub as well as I might be missing smth or reading too much apple bias info.
I want recs on Surfaces or other MSFT products (idk what other products suit me) but also want neutral info on Surface vs iPads/Tablets, in terms of durability, longevity etc... Although most the info I have read seems to be apple bias.
TLDR: electrical engineering 4 years @ uni. no to eink. notetaking + annotating + math + watching vids/lectures. don't mind buying used/older releases. want recs on Surfaces and why I should go for them over iPads/Tablets. plus don't wanna make a FOMO-guided or uselessFeature-guided decision

ich habe vor Kurzem ein Kleinunternehmen gegründet. Mir wurde geraten, mich bei Elster anzumelden (bis jetzt haben meine Frau und ich unsere Steuererklärung mit WISO gemacht). Ich habe mich bereits registriert und sehe dort die Option "Mein Profil vervollständigen beziehungsweise korrigieren – Verknüpfen Sie relevante Personen mit Mein Profil, um das Ausfüllen von Formularen später zu erleichtern."
Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, könnte ich hier meine Frau hinzufügen, damit wir auch weiterhin unsere Steuererklärung gemeinsam machen können. Ist das der richtige Weg, oder hat diese Option einen anderen Zweck?
Außerdem habe ich noch eine weitere Frage: Werde ich vom Finanzamt eine eigene Steuernummer für das Unternehmen bekommen? Muss ich diese beantragen, oder erhalte ich automatisch Post vom Finanzamt?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking about writing this post for a while to see whether or not consulting is the right for me or is all the hate on it justified. A little about me I’m 26 (some of my friends think it’s too old since I’ll have be there for a while to get promoted) I had a 3.3 gpa Ba conc in finance/ marketing and currently doing a Master of Arts in international marketing/Sales.
I graduate this summer and currently finishing up a 6month internship for a AI startup (hated it leaving) I’ve been studying my whole life and I feel like I don’t have enough work experience (company projects for university)to justify even getting in….
Are the long hours, burnouts and lack of empathy from employers true?
I wanted to get into something lucrative and I like being on the go at times as well with being on different projects learning is interesting to me )something to stimulate my brain.
I hear all these horror stories about no work like balance and how it’s slave work at times.
Just wanted your opinions on it. I KNOW there’s different types of consulting and so on. And I’m aware with my background big 4/ MBB would be impossible (so I’ve been told by another consultant)
Born and raised in NY living in Germany and currently speak German and English if it helps
Anyone with a similar background? How did you like are? Are you still in consulting? Any regrets?
Id rather slave my life away now than when I’m old and can’t work anymore..

I’m currently about to take my 6th dose of 7.5mg tomorrow, and noticed my suppression is starting to dwindle on Thursdays/Fridays. Due to this, I’m considering moving up to 10mg.
