This is my first playthrough, so don't flame me too hard for being trash lmao. I'm well aware that everything that occurred here was due to my own lack of skill, tact, and intellect, but Ethel was a *ROUGH* fight for me.
I get to her little cellar lair in act 3 and have Karlach whip a hag's bane at that musty fuck. She pukes up Vanra. Excellent! Now the fight begins.
I figure if I prioritize killing Ethel, then she won't have control over her masked cronies. I can tell which Ethel is her because of the nauseous effect, so no problem there. The problem arises when I realize the masks didn't stop working after she died.
That's because she didn't die. Those damn mushrooms revive her.
Okay, that's fine. Now that I know this, I can prioritize the mushrooms on my second attempt. I send Karlach to start attacking the one in the corner, Astarion misty steps into range of the one that's kind of up in the wall, and I'll send Jaheira to go get the one that has the cavern blocking the way since I also gave her misty step. My sorcerer Tav can chuck some spells at the attackers.
Nevermind actually, because my sorcerer is going to get chucked across the room by a wind attack from one of the masks, so now she's much closer to Jaheira's shroom than Jaheira is, and Jaheira is also now surrounded by foes. Small hiccup, but I can make this work.
Spoiler alert, I could not make this work. Tav got thrown into the cavern, and it's all downhill from there.
Third time's the charm as they say! Everyone targets the same mushroom so that nobody gets surrounded this time, and we'll pick them off one at a time. Due to some very unfortunate luck, whenever the mushrooms were just one attack away from destruction, whichever party member was set up to deal the final blow would end up immobilized *JUUUST* out of range, and the mushrooms would heal themselves.
My fourth attempt I managed to get all the mushrooms, but Karlach fucking died before I could heal her because a magma mephit I summoned on one of the masks with controlled chaos died, blew up, and hit her while she was down. It also killed the mask in the process, which sucks ass because I was trying really hard to save them. Oh the irony that Karlach's fire resistance couldn't save her when she needed it most.
Karlach's death is unfortunate, but this is our smoothest attempt so far so I'll write her a heartfelt apology letter later for letting her die and continue on. It is at this moment that I realize...
...Ethel is in front of that chasm on the upper part of the cellar, and Astarion has a clear shot.
He fires off an arrow of roaring thunder, it crit misses Ethel as just one last dig at my pride, but that doesn't matter, because she gets flung whether the arrow hurts her or not.
Just like that, the hag is no more, the battle is over, and whatever loot she had on her is gone, but don't tell me what it was because, as you may have gathered, I have been at this for longer than I should have been, and I don't want any reason to try again.
Captain Grisly thanks me, I revive Karlach, and I notice that the two surviving masks still have their masks on and are acting weird.
"Oh I know! I'll just have Astarion pickpocket the masks off of them!" I say, forgetting that they are armour technically and are unpickable. I pickpocketed a key and a note off of one of them, so I figure I should see what the other has anyway.
CAPTAIN FUCKING GRISLY SPOTS ME AND STARTS A FIGHT!
Weirdly, she's on my side, but every turn she just yell's from atop a barrel and doesn't attack the masks. That was for the best since I still wanted them to survive so I was using non-lethal attacks.
I take the mask off of one of their sleeping bodies, and GRISLY GETS MAD AT ME!?
So I use a fog cloud to get the mask without her seeing, but the other unconscious mask is out of range no matter where I put the cloud. I'm tired, so I'm not gonna do anything clever, I'm just gonna cut corners until I have a circle. What I mean to say is that I used up all my spell slots on fog clouds so that I could get all of the masks to save Ethel's victims, and loot the dead mask without pissing off Grisly. There were probably better ways do this, but I don't care.
Great success, I think to myself, but fuck me sideways, Grisly is not done with her shenanigans. While I'm looting a chest, she confronts me about a "theft". EXCUSE ME?!?! DUMBASS, I STOLE THE MASKS THAT WERE FUCKING UP THEIR MINDS!! THE SAME FUCKING ONES THAT YOU HAD ON JUST 10 MINUTES AGO!!
I talk my way out of trouble twice, because Grisly just does not like these poor unconscious shmucks, and hopefully my Tav will live an Ethel free life from hear on out.
Fuck you, Grisly. The only reason you are still standing is because it would be out of character for my Tav to kill you. Next playthrough, you're getting curb stomped repeatedly.

This is a weird reach out to everyone here, but i had this weird dream, asking for a sign from anything to continue 😅 and in a dream, I saw three deities.
One was a bandaged woman who stood and didn't do anything, she was mummified it seemed but able to move.
The second one was very much like your traditional Christian angel, long blonde hair and blue eyes, blue dress, pale skin, and she was very ethereal and beautiful. I've seen artwork of her in my dreams one other time.
And the third was a skeleton woman, cloaked in black with gold trimming, pearls everywhere and thin black hair. She cradled me and told me her name was Mother Mab ?
I'm just very curious I suppose as I haven't done anything with my craft aside from divination for the better part of several years.

Rólam tudni kell, hogy 12-13 éves korom óta (most kezdem a 25. életévem) én aktívan nézek pornográf tartalmakat, amik hol extrémebbek, hol lightosabbak, de a lényeg az, hogy ezalatt az idő alatt minden nap legalább 1-szer maszturbáltam.
Ez az egész odáig jutott, hogy problémás volt a szexuális életünk én elkezdtem maszturbálni többet és ott vagyok jelenleg, hogy szexuálisan diszfunkcionális vagyok, csakis a videókra tudok elélvezni. Beleestem a 22-es csapdájába és rá kellett jönnöm, hogy ezt én indukáltam, hogy nekünk ilyen legyen a szexuális életünk.
Szinte mindig is tudtam, hogy a pornó rendszeres fogyasztása káros az emberre nézve, hát még a gyerek pszichéjére. Ennek ellenére ilyen mértékben fogyasztottam és voltak napok amikor akár 6-7 alkalommal is maszturbáltam. Sokszor volt, hogy megpróbáltam abszolút letenni a pornó nézésről, de 1-2 után mindig visszatértem. Hey guys, since there is quite a lot of negative feedback, I want to share my experience, which was not as bad as others.
I read about the upcoming update, and I was very curious if the update would worsen my already degrading battery performance. So I manually started the update as soon as it was out. After the update it was immediately clear: My battery is toast. I had to charge it roughly twice as often as before. It was also not fast charging anymore. Annoying! I immediately went through the Google formulas to get the free exchange of the battery. I had to call the repair shop to ensure they have the battery in stock, which they luckily had. I got an appointment for the next week. So I made a trip to Frankfurt, the next big city, where the repair shop is located. It was a COMSPOT Repair Shop, which was part of a Vodafone store. They exchanged the battery in less than 2 hours without deleting any data on my phone (had to give them my code, so they could run their diagnostics).
The battery performance now is way better than before the update. So in the end, my daily driver got a welcoming battery upgrade for free, in exchange for some trouble organizing the battery exchange and a few days of worse battery performance. Of course I had the luck, that I live in a country, where a free exchange was possible.
I have another Pixel 4a, rooted, with a cracked display. In order to exchange the battery, I was supposed to pay 100 bucks for a new display, which I denied. For that Pixel I went for the Google store voucher, only to immediately change my opinion and opt in for the 50 Euros cash. Somehow I got lucky, and apparently got both, I have a payment approval in payoneer and a code for the Google store.
