The special last night was pretty good. And it got the ball moving forward. I want to say I don't understand this toxic response but my gut is telling me i do know why. There are a ton of accounts FRESHLY made bitching and laughing the hardest. And I'm sure il get some crappy comments from these clowns, but I noticed these and I'm not the only one. The "I'm done with insert name of person for good this time" are, in my OPINION, disinformation pigs at work. The hype around this special wasn't anything out of the ordinary, and yet some of you act like you have never seen a news organization hype their own video before. Let us remind ourselves that ARENT on here in bad faith that it cost NOTHING to use your fat little fingers to open reddit and read a few tweets for a minute a day. If your disappointed that's fair. If your on here crestfallen for some reason, I for one don't believe you. Ince again It cost you NOTHING to follow this topic. And this would be the cheapest, easiest way to sow dissent and disinformation on the internet. Much easier than allegedly killing someone. My 2 cents on the situation.

Everything bar the cardboard base was recycled from opshops including the shamrock lace (I was so happy to find that) and it took about 4 hours to make by hand using a mix of embroidery, hand sewing and a bit of cheeky hot glue gun usage. I'm really happy with how this turned out and so were they!

2025.01.19 10:40 LokiBuni My Personal Amphoreus Opinions

Story: 5/10. So far, ehhhh. It's only the first patch and I'm not interested as much in exposition or worldbuilding as much as I care about characterization. It's a low score just because it's a setup and the good stuff is yet to come, but I see the potential. The vocabulary and proper names are a bit overwhelming. I like the Express's plot of TB and Dan Heng losing contact with everyone else, March having an unexplained connection to Amphoreus, and Herta interested in being involved. I'm not too invested in whatever the Titans and Heirs and the beef, but as a Trailblazer, I have no choice lul. I want to know more about that unknown third path and why Amphoreus is completely isolated while still not having a language barrier with the rest of us domesticated cosmos... I do see a similarity between the Chrysos Heirs dedication to their prophecy and the Stellaron Hunters with Elio's Script. I'm theorizing that maybe the third path might be Finality just for that parallel. Speaking of the Hunters, the "false memory" gives a really nice addition to seeing what life was like for our MC before we got turned into a cancer bomb vessel. I chose to say farewell to Kafka, and her words were surprisingly super touching. It might be one of my top scenes within the game, honestly lol
Back to Amphoreus, there's a lot of tell, not show, for our Chrysos Heirs. Aglaea and Castorice are the characters I'm most interested to know more about behind what we get to see. I think the reason for that is because all of our other major characters are more honest and just say what they think. Phainon and Mydei seem too one-note. Both have some interesting things only in their past in the book we write in at the end (regards to Phainon's name and Mydei's title as prince). Tribbie is decent as has a nice gimmick, but I don't see a lot of story for her to explore past written lore unless they all merge together at some point of the story lol? By the way, Gnaeus's EN voice actor did PHENOMENAL. Absolute chad character.
Environment: 8.5/10. Very, very, pretty, and the water physics are the best of any Hoyo game so far. The difference between daytime and nighttime is gorgeous. Navigating can be kind of meticulous especially when so many paths have one way of entry and exit. I do think the locked doors open way too slowly. The chests and puzzles are not hard to find and you just need to know where chests are usually hidden. I do wish we got more waypoints because there's a lot of floors that you can't navigate through via the map and have to redo your puzzles pretty often.
Puzzles: 9/10 My favorite of all planets. They make me think just enough without feeling overwhelmed (cough dream tickers cough) and are not mind-numbingly easy or a brute force puzzle. I think the Hand of Zagreus is a little wonky but it's not really anything to deduct points for. There's a lot of floors that get convoluted due to all the memory-time day/night mechanics, though, so grinding through the maps for chests and items is... going to be rough
Combat: 7/10. Points are deducted for the sheer volume of enemies, and although I appreciate some of them not chasing after you, I literally pulled for Feixiao and her technique just to clear through the areas so I can actually solve my puzzles in peace lmfao. The armor mechanic I don't really notice nor care about, but the little purple treasure chest thing I like the gimmick. It's like the opposite of big-boobied enemy who doesn't let you use certain moves. Props on designers on making the enemies crumble into stone when you defeat them, though, I really like that touch. The Nikador boss fight was HARD, but not frustratingly so. W to my team for surviving a world-exploding spear though ig LMFAOOO
Random non-serious thought I have is whether or not Himeko has any relations to Amphoreus, simply because her dress is similar to Aglaea's. Either that, or she just bought a dress from Aglaea lol
