In Serbia I think the flag is positive, doesn't matter if you are pro-Vučić or not, pro-EU or pro-Russia. In Turkey as well, doesn't matter if you are Kemalist or Erdoganist. I think Albania is the same.
What about other countries? For example, Bulgaria seems to be less patriotic and they score quite low in surveys of willinginess to fight for their country.

2025.01.19 11:39 Ok-Archer-5796 (spoilers main) Jon Snow is NOT a Gary Stu
There was a post in TheCitadel recently that asked who is the biggest Mary sue/Gary Stu in the series and mkay answered Jon..
I disagree. Jon has obvious blind spots and weaknesses. A Gary Stu is someone who is good at almost everything, is liked by everyone except obvious villains, has no flaws except something inconsequential like "being slightly clumsy". None of those things really apply to Jon. Not everybody likes him, he has blind spots that literally got him killed. He's pretty biased and judgemental. (For example he seems unnecessarily harsh towards Selyse but seem to like Stannis even though Stannis isn't exactly a great person either) Also, if Jon is a Gary Stu then almost all fantasy protagonists are.
I don't even like Jon, he's my least favorite POV along with Sam and Asha. (I guess the Northern storyline is boring to me) However, I think he's a pretty well-rounded character.

I'm flying EK354 on Friday, and have been hoping a miles upgrade from economy to business will become available. Does anyone who flies this route know if upgrades may become available closer to the date? Is it worth asking at the airport?
I've already upgraded one segment of this flight for 50k, and if I upgrade the whole thing (including DXB-SIN) it would only be 68,250, so just for the sake of value if nothing else, I'm hoping it becomes available.

Wäre es nicht sinnvoll anstatt in Gold zu investieren einfach einen Knockout mit niedriger Schwelle zu nehmen? Weil allein mit nem 2er Hebel ist ja schon der Gewinn (zumindest kurzfristig) verdoppelt und dass der Goldpreis so radikal bis Knockout fällt ist mehr als unwahrscheinlich.
Natürlich ist noch ein Risiko dass der Emittent pleite geht und das Zeug komplett verfällt aber das ist (soweit ich mich bisher damit befasst habe) ja auch unwahrscheinlich.
Bin nur neu in dem ganzen Gebiet und da kam mir diese Frage.

So my sister has suggested setting up a trap for birds so her cat can hunt them.
She also suggested buying a baby chicky or iguana so pooch can feed.
I am mortified by this. We keep kitty indoors and she is fed with kibble and wet food.
I used to keep fish and get the benfits of live feeding and suppose snake keepers and spiders have limited feeding options.
Is it wierd to think its animal cruelty since cats can eat dry or wet food? As opposed to hunting a trapped baby animal. She isnt living in to wild.
