I used CasaOS before, and wanted to install it again, but it didn't work on the distro I'm running - CachyOS.
Can anyone recommend a similar webgui docker tool that works in Arch or Arch based distros? I want to run plex, Pi Hole (also doesn't support Arch), and maybe use it to share the data HDD installed on the machine via... I don't remember how to make the thing a NAS, but there's an option for sure.

I can't really explain this.. it doesn't make sense to me, but I will try my best to explain: I feel disconnected from my body, like I feel as if my mind is not apart of my physical form. Hi everyone!
I wanted to share my first SFFPC build with you. I know some might not consider it small form factor since it’s just over the 20L mark, but most of the components inside are SFF-oriented. Coming from a BeQuiet Dark Base 700, the jump is pretty significant.
I also wanted to document what can realistically fit inside this case since I didn't find that much build about this case. I took a bit of a risk with this build, slightly exceeding the case's internal specifications. It wasn’t by much, but I had to get creative to make everything work.
The first thing to note is that, for its size, this case is quite restrictive—particularly in terms of CPU cooling. Not only are large coolers out of the question (as expected in an SFF build), but the fabric panel is very restrictive, which impacts airflow.
Knowing this, I did what any sane person would do—I paired a Ryzen 7 9700X with 32GB of G.Skill Flare DDR5 at 6400MHz. I originally wanted a 7800X3D, but it’s significantly more expensive in France. After researching, I found that with the right tweaks, the 9700X could perform almost as well. Sure, it’s overkill for my current GPU, but I wanted to future-proof the build for a potential GPU upgrade.
For the motherboard, I picked what was available and suitable for my setup. My main requirements were sufficient USB ports and NVMe slots (I plan to add another one later). This case doesn’t have much space for HDDs/SSDs, aside from one slot that compromises airflow if used.
To address the fabric’s restrictiveness, I replaced the NH-C14S stock fan with a Noctua A14 industrialPPC-3000 PWM. This fan serves as both the intake and the CPU cooler. I chose it for its high static pressure, which should theoretically help push air through the restrictive fabric. The cooler is now sandwiched between the fan and the fabric, creating a funnel-like effect to direct airflow over the CPU.
I also considered the BeQuiet Shadow Rock TF2, which might have fit, but my calculations showed it would encroach on the PSU space. In the end, I wasn’t confident it would work as well.
For the PSU, as long as you use an SFX or SFX-L unit, it should fit. In my case, however, the CPU cooler (specifically the fan) extended into the PSU space. To make it work, I had to lift the PSU slightly, positioning it very close to the top exhaust fan. I secured it using zip ties at the top and relied on the leverage from the bottom screws to tilt it slightly inward. This adjustment allowed me to fit the case cover back on, as the power cord was otherwise sticking out too much. I strongly recommend one with flexible cables—they make cable management much easier. Speaking of which, cable management was surprisingly straightforward overall, except for the bulky motherboard connector.
Temps-wise, I’m hitting the 85°C thermal limit I set on the motherboard, with the cpu fan running at 80% (which is pretty loud). However, the CPU maintains a steady 5.3–5.4 GHz during stress tests. To achieve this, I tweaked the BIOS settings using PBO :
- Raised the CPU TDP from 65W to 105W.
- Applied a slight 100 MHz overclock.
- Undervolted with a negative curve of 40 on all cores.
- Set the Infinity Fabric frequency to 2133MHz.
As for the GPU, temps aren’t an issue. That side of the case has proper airflow, with no fabric restrictions. The GPU runs between 64–70°C under full load.
All in all, this was a fun build. Despite the challenges, it’s relatively easy to work in this case. That said, it would be a much better case if some of the design choices (like the fabric panel) were better thought out.
