2025.01.19 11:44 Bobcat-2 Feeling positive but tired
I'm 19 days into dry January and I just feel wiped out levels of exhaustion. Like sleeping 8hrs at night then needing daytime naps and such. Anyone else experiencing this?
I otherwise feel good, not really missed drinking at all to be honest which is surprising because previous years I've been counting down the days to 1st Feb. Planning to keep this run going!

I'm working on a project and have been using Claude Pro with the desktop app (MCP enabled). The problem is, I keep running out of Pro message limits, so I end up waiting 3-4 hours before I can start using it again.
I tried switching to the Claude API with Cline, but I quickly hit the input token limit since I’m on Tier 1. After 4-5 API calls, it’s a game of clicking "retry" over and over until it works. It's frustrating, especially because I rely heavily on MCP to guide me through things (I don’t know much coding).
With the desktop app, I feel more in control, but Cline often goes off on its own, makes mistakes, and sometimes gets stuck in a loop trying to fix the same error over and over.
Now, I’m debating whether I should just get a second Pro subscription to keep things running smoothly or stick with the API/Cline setup (even though I’ve already spent $20 on it). Would spending more on the API make sense, or is there a better alternative for my use case?
Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

That was my main reason for getting it. I work seasonal and I’m off right now but soon April comes and I’ll be collecting a paycheque to sit on my ass and play the SD again! Really excited since I’ve discovered emulation and Pokemon Roms. Also gonna play my backlog of games, I got through Mass Effect 1 Remastered, Bioshock 1 Remastered and GTA V last year.
I’m grateful I get to be able to do what I do for a living.

Hi there, for a few reasons I’m sadly saddled with a fairly substantial amount of debt. This is made up of loans, credit cards and overdrafts.
After a financial health check I have found that I can consolidate all loans ODs and cards into one loan which will reduce my outgoings by about £450 a month. Which is great! However I will then be on a long term loan, tied in for 8 years.
My question is, the obvious pro is the reduction in payments each month, but is it a nightmare or unadvisable to be tied to an 8 year loan, which I assume I can pay off early with a fee? Should I consolidate and take the 8 year medicine?
