Hi,
I want to list files inside some directories stored in my iCloud Drive.
If I do something like ls or ls -l */* or w/e from the terminal, the only files displayed are the ones that are actually currently downloaded.
How can I get a "full" listing/hierarchy of what's in my iCloud Drive?

Many inexperienced men believe that if they show interest, e.g. ask a girl out or try to kiss her, and the girl does not reciprocate, then it is game over.
The truth is that it all depends on your reaction to her reaction. If you go for the kiss and she turns her cheek to you, and you react by being hurt or overly apologetic, then it may likely be game over.
Same also goes if you get all sulky and butt-hurt if she turns you down for a date. But if you instead react by smiling, shrug it off, and continue the conversation as if nothing had happened, then your self-confidence may generate more attraction than if you had actually gotten what you wanted in the first place.
The most important thing when it comes to asking someone out is to do so in a low pressure way where you communicate to the other person that you will not be upset if they say no.
The longer you wait to ask someone out, the more likely it is that you will become more invested in the relationship's outcome. This will only make it harder for you to remain cool and nonreactive when interacting with the person. So quit putting it off and go for it already!

2025.01.19 13:01 aeseth Should I quit and prepare?
I work in a remote setup company for more than a year now.
I used to have freedom with my work time. As long as I completed my workload for the day - they generally never bother with it or check if I am still on my work desk.
But when I returned to work this new year, just a week ago. Something changed.
They constantly message and check on me via slack. Boss is now starting to question my output because they feel like I need to add more numbers in my output (even though this is the same numbers I produced for the one year).
When we had meetings twice this week (the atmosphere was tense for some odd reason eventhough I never felt this way before.
They are now questioning that I lacked initiative.
That I suddenly lacked "communication with team" (eventhough I know this is the same amount of interactions I always do).
Boss alluded that I somehow "Lacks love for the company" - never really said straight up but I get the gist.
ANOTHER BIG SIGN AS WELL IS THAT "MY ANNUAL SALARY INCREASE WAS SOMEHOW BEING DELAYED DUE TO COMPANY TRANSITIONS. Almost 3 months delayed that I feel like it was declined but said it was just delayed.
Is the company pushing me to quit? Do they want me gone now?
Should I see this as a sign to look around for new job opportunity.

2025.01.19 13:01 k1tchup AITAH for saying that my boyfriend’s career choices aren’t practical?
My boyfriend (22M) and I (21F) had a major argument earlier. It got to a point where he’d started cussing me out, but I think what he felt was actually valid.
I’d brought up how his career choices aren’t practical for our future. Yes, I’m aware that we’re both still very young. But my boyfriend is graduating this year, and his diploma isn’t even guaranteed to be handed out unless he passes the recital. If you can guess, his course is Diploma in Music Production. And we live in a country that gives minimum to zero opportunities with his chosen course.
I was already aware of this before I got into the relationship, but I wasn’t aware how rare the opportunities would be. And to note, he wants to be a musical artist and release songs. To be fair, his family is financially able enough to support him. But it’s not like it’s guaranteed he’ll be able to make an income out of it... I’m not trying say I’m doubtful of his skills, in fact, I think my boyfriend is talented. Even if he were to succeed, he would still need enough savings. And isn’t it better to work hard for your own career? I don’t know if it’s just me.
Maybe I just have very different beliefs when it comes financially related stuff. I just turned 21 and I already had a job before. I’m already starting my new job next month. I want a stable income, wouldn’t it be fair for me to want that for my future family? Especially if we’re gonna be married, I expect things to be 50-50. I suggested he should try applying to other jobs still related to his course, but I could sense he was hesitant to agree. He kept bringing up how his family made him choose this course because they can support him financially. But he also said he regretted choosing his course only because his family told him so. I don’t know what he’s thinking. It’s bad enough his family is probably manipulating him with money (he’s a bit of a people pleaser) but he plans to stay with them for God knows how long?
I don’t know. Maybe it was the way I communicated it that made him upset, but I honestly can’t see his point. AITAH here?

2025.01.19 13:01 Slyxxer Bung King passenger peg crash bars - review
So since I got my bags, I've been looking for some kind of crash bar for them. Every rear crash bar I came across was more of a stunt cage setup which is total overkill for me, since I only commute in the city and a parking lot drop is the most likely scenario.
Then I came across the Bung King rear passenger peg crash bars for $99usd.

They replace the rear pegs with a solid bar that fills the entire clevis so they won't fold up. They were pretty much exactly what I was after, but at 6" I was worried they wouldn't stick out far enough to save my bags. I had a quick chat with them over social media and they told me they could do them in an extended 7.5" length for the same cost. I did some quick measurements and it was going to be close, but a dented bag is better than a trashed one.
They took about 10 days to get to me in Australia (via DHL), which is pretty good considering local stuff takes about the same time.
The packaging was basic, but the pegs were top quality. Very heavy, with a perfect thick powdercoat finish. The replaceable slider on the end was excellent with no unfinished seams. They also come with the required bolt/nut to replace the peg pin. (I hate when "bolt on" parts required trips to the hardware store.)
My rear pegs were already removed, so all I had to to was fit them. They fit TIGHT!! I think they are machined to the stock clevis width, but the powdercoat thickness makes them almost too tight. I had to use a hammer to get them in to seat them and I could see the powdercoat scraping away by the clevis as they slid into place. They sit hard up against the clevis end so there is no movement. Even before the bolt, I couldn't pull them back out by hand.
The mounting hole is threaded and not just a smooth drilling . This means the supplied bolt holds the bar in place, and the nut is more of the locknut. Once tightened up, I jumped up and down (as much as 130lb can) on the pegs and nothing even creaked.
Moment of truth... I gingerly lowered the bike down until it rested on the floorboard mount and the rear bars until it settled. I looked down and saw I had a half inch between my bags and the ground. Success!
I can't recommend these bars enough for someone wanting a super simple crash solution. The price and simplicity of it left me a happy customer.
