Yes there is a difference. Night is a distinct period of day which is dark as opposed to morning and afternoon which are just periods of during daylight. Therefore you can say that something will occur "at night" (i.e. when it is dark) but not at morning or afternoon. For day, afternoon, morning, evening, etc. you use "during the" or "in the". The fire broke out on the morning of May 5. --> This is fine. It might be used when answering the question "when did the fire break out?" I often see statements like this in news articles describing forest fires that burn for several weeks, although it could also be used for fires that burn for a much shorter length of time. Since, as a very general rule, we tend not to add words unnecessarily, "in the morning" is usually only added if "early" by itself seems insufficient. While it is still morning, "early", when referring to sometime earlier that day, can only refer to a time in the morning, so saying "in the morning" sounds unnecessarily pedantic. I prefer morning exercises because that suggests doing various movements in a group. Exercise, singular, could be any form of physical exertion performed in the morning. 'Morning exercises' is a standard phrase. Well there are four possibilities: two orders, and two phrases to emphasize. Let's take out 'to my place', which we wouldn't say, because these emphasized sentences would probably only be said in answer to something, so 'to my place' is already understood. I have English classes in the morning, three times a week. I have English classes three times a week, in the morning. I have English classes in the mornings. (Although I would expect five times a week.) The first two might be able to use "mornings" but it sounds just slightly odd to me -- perhaps it's the "three times" which is already a plural. Our current RIA uses Salesforce with a Practifi overlay and my team hates it. It’s clunky, not intuitive and requires a lot of double work. If we go fully independent (highly likely), we will need to find another system. The CRM needs to drive workflows, tasks, client info, tracking etc. Ideally it would interface with e-Money, Holistiplan, Asset Map and whatever trading software we decide to use. Not sure how we would do billing - if that can be integrated, would be wonderful. If you have things you love / hate about your CRM, please share. (Listening to a Kitces podcast now where the speaker references HubSpot, which I’d not heard of before)

2025.01.19 13:10 chris_stonehill Hard to describe how happy this makes me! GODS arrived in the mail yesterday. THAT was the game I adored on my family's Atari ST back in the 90s. Maybe first game I completed SB2 I only experienced back then on my Gameboy. (more in body text ⬇️)
Experienced CE for first time via terrible MD emulation. Since have completed MD and SNES ports...and Amiga original via much better emulation. This cart is a repro (originals on ebay were battered and VERY expensive). Other 2 are originals.
Amazing playing the Amiga original of GODS via emulation. Soooo much slower...and no in game music.
My girlfriend still has her Megadrive from back in the 90s...so seems like the best way to have these 3 absolute classics on physical media 👍

If the buckeyes can close out the season with the national championship tomorrow, that would be 3 National Championships from each of our last three head (full-time/non-interim) coaches. I don’t know if there any programs that has accomplished that with head coaching changes. It just says a lot about the health of the program and the support it has around it without having to lean on a larger-than-life coach. Go bucks!!

 | The larger and OP reflector of the 2020 model, has a perfect profile. I’ve tried a DD 519A and an FFL351A. The beams are almost identical, but I prefer the FFL tint at that CCT. Next, I tried the FFL351A under the smaller, SMO reflector of the 2019 model and it had unsightly rings - which the camera has been kind to. They are are highly visually distracting in person. Next, I tried a domed emitter under the smaller, SMO reflector of the 2019 model. The rings persisted and while I tried to ignore them, in use, I found them distracting at short range inside the house. Finally, I added the dc fix ‘milky’ and got a perfect diffusion.
