So, for some context: I [24M] have never been in a relationship. I’ve tried dating and had okay success—both of the two girls I asked out said yes.
The issue is that it never goes past the second or third date. I think part of the reason is that I don’t get physical at all. I’ll compliment them and have good conversations, but I don’t initiate any kind of contact, like holding hands or anything. The thing is, that kind of physical interaction makes me uncomfortable in general.
I’ve been operating on the idea that I shouldn’t force myself to do things I don’t want to do, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m being too cautious. When I talk about it with friends, they usually tell me it’s kind of an essential step in dating, and I get it—everyone’s first time doing anything is a bit awkward or uncomfortable.
What do you think? Should I push myself to take those steps, even if I’m not comfortable ? Or should I stick to my approach of only doing what feels natural to me?

After I give my guinea pig nose scritches, she puts her head up in the air and shows me her neck. Sometimes she also gives a little shake and puffs out her fur. What does this mean? Is this dominating behavior? When I give her nose pets she will close her eyes and look content so she doesn’t seem unhappy that I’m petting her.

Hi everyone I just got a 2014 Lexus Ct 200h F sport. But I having an issue and can’t find anything online so I’m hoping one of you can help. The issue is the left turn signal isn’t working. As in when I push the stock down nothing happens. It doesn’t even show the arrow in the gauge cluster. However putting the hazards on does illuminate all of the lights (including the left signals). I thought it was the combination switch so I replaced it. But the problem still persists.
So to recap the right turn signal works as normal, the hazards work as normal, it’s just the left turn signal. Any ideas?

My momma is 81, we lost dad to cancer nearly 4 yrs ago. My momma has vascular dementia and it's slowly progressing but she's not happy anywhere she goes. I've let her make the decisions and she just moved for the 6th time. If it was the Taj Mahal, I don't think it would be good enough. She keeps wanting to be independent again. And she is in assisted living. I'm disabled but I try really hard. Healthy boundaries keeps me from going insane.

Haven’t seen this talked about much but has anyone unable to lose weight while being on opioids? I was able to lose 45 lbs taking Mounaro injection but it seems like ever since moving to Percocet 3 times a day I just cannot move any weight. My bathroom habits are fine and I absolutely still need this medication due to failed neck surgeries. I was on gabapentin as well when I first lost the 45 lbs but wondering if the Percocet can stall it that much as well?

I was on another subreddit. I saw a post of a woman talking about how her date just slapped and choked her while they were making out for the first time. She ended the date (rightfully).
And when I was ranting about how men who do these kind of acts are a danger to society, I got comments like „this is not BDSM, BDSM is all about consent!“
Okay and? I don‘t care if the woman consents to it. Give me one logical reason why a man should hit, choke or spit on a woman and call her derogatory names. Give me one reason why he should do rape roleplays with her apart from the „oh she consented to it!“.
Then I got: „He doesn‘t get off on her pain, he gets off her pleasure!“
If I enjoy starving and cutting myself, would you get off to it? No? Then how is that different? And aren‘t there any non-harmful, non-misognyistic ways to get a woman off?
We have to stop pretending that abusers abuse women because they are selfless creatures that to these women (= the „subs“) a favor. If hitting a woman gets your dick hard, you are the problem.
