I'm attempting to make all 157 pies on the Wikipedia list of all pies, tarts, and Flans. Atlantic Beach Pie was INCREDIBLE. A thick lemon filling, saltine based crust, and a salty lime garnish... all really came together. Recipe;
Ingredients For the crust -1 1/2 sleeves of saltine crackers (about 6 ounces or 60 crackers) -1/2 cup softened unsalted butter -3 tablespoons sugar
For the filling -1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk -4 egg yolks -1/2 cup lemon or lime juice or a mix of the two -Fresh whipped cream, for garnish -Coarse sea salt, for garnish
Directions -Preheat oven to 350°F. -Crush the crackers finely, but not to dust. You can use a food processor or your hands. -Add the sugar, then knead in the butter until the crumbs hold together like dough. -Press into an 8-inch pie pan. -Chill for 15 minutes, then bake for 18 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. -While the crust is cooling (it doesn't need to be cold), beat the egg yolks into the milk, then beat in the citrus juice. It is important to completely combine these ingredients. -Pour into the shell and bake for 16 minutes until the filling has set. The pie needs to be completely cold to be sliced. -Serve with fresh whipped cream and a sprinkling of sea salt.

I know this is a relatively minor complaint in terms of struggling with tummy tuck recovery, but just wanted to know if anyone else struggled going from exercising loads pre-op, and in recovery found it difficult having to rest and not get your sweat on?
I know I need to rest, but I feel like I’m being so lazy, and as someone who got this tummy tuck after major weight loss, I think there’s definitely a (very irrational) fear that lazing around for a month or two is going to make me lose all my progress?
Again, I know this isn’t a real problem in the grand scheme of things, as I’ve had a relatively easy recovery with just the usual symptoms, and I knew I was going to have to rest, yet doing it is much harder than I thought! Who knew doing nothing could be so hard!

2025.01.19 15:01 Parking_Ad4382 Should I start Accutane? My face has been significantly better lately as of the past 2wks but now it is at a stage where it won’t budge.
Help! I’m a 14yo who deals with acne that won’t seem to go away after various methods of treatment and prevention. Help - General I'm 14 years old right now, and since last year my forehead has been consistently flaring up (started 2 hrs ago but remained very similar state for about 0.5-1 yr). For the past 6 months I've been on a very strict, consistent diet that avoids any oily foods and sugary foods, or any food that causes acne for anyone, really. I've been using a 'Projecte Beauty' device that you use every night by shining on your face (blue light), on and off (e.g., for a 4 month period every night then stop for 2 months and then returned), for about this same amount of time. I've been using triple action exfoliators three times a week, as well as varying facial cleansers that helps reduce oil production every day. I use two toners both morning and night. In the morning alongside the toners, I use CeraVe moisturiser and some sunscreen that helps with wrinkles and dark spots (Olay) (used to use niacinamide from The Ordinary). At night, I use differin (alone, I've used it for a few months then took a break from it and went back in with using it again) or if I'm not using that I use vitamin c cream and salycylic acid (The Ordinary). Throughout the day at school, I try my best to get a highly bacteria-free tissue to lightly press on my face to remove oil as my face tends to look shiny during the day... Recently, at night, I've been using pimple patches on certain areas, which have been working but they eventually come back I believe.
My face however, continues to look like this. What do I do (forehead is 99% the problem not really anywhere else)? I find this an insecurity despite many teens going through this. Photos are attached to show what my forehead currently looks like. Fyi I have not been touching my face throughout the day to avoid bacteria transfer in any way

The ongoing season which is to end today is regarded to have the least interesting set of contestants as the majority is the television's own anchors and actors. The rest are lesser known models, youtubers and producers. Overall preference of contestants seemed to have downgraded, preferring those with less experience. As if, those who are experienced won't suit the show's concept of respecting the host. Will people in cinema industry have the same respect for vjs as they had for kamal?Was it a deliberate move to ensure the power parity between host and the contestants?

I watched the movie Pani yesterday, and there were a couple of scenes involving Giri that didn’t make much sense. When Don and Siju ambushed him, Giri just stepped out of the car instead of ducking down, almost as if he was inviting the gunfire, saying, “Shoot me.” Was this supposed to show that Giri is reckless or unintelligent? Also, during the ambush, his car stopped due to a malfunction, but somehow, it started working again when he began chasing them. How does that add up?

I'm a bit weary of the fintech solutions as I've heard a fair share of horror stories about transacrions and accounts being frozen, so I'd like to find a way to arange my fincances and reducing the risk of that happening.
I was wondering if any of you have experience working with any of these fintech companies, and whether you have any other recommendations?
From my research, it seems like Wise might be the most reliable, but they don't have a debit card in HK and it's a big con for me.
Also, if anyone know of a traditional bank that is likely to accomedate a starting buisness such as mine, I'd really appreciate that input as well.
