Hey there! 28-year-old guy from England here! I’m 6ft1, average build and like to think I have a good sense of humour - or at least a stereotypically dry British one (with the accent to match too).
My big passion in life is travelling. I’m currently working my way through the continents and would love anyone that has tips or travel stories to share! I went to Japan recently and I’m also trying to tick off all the Disney Parks worldwide - it would be great to meet someone to do that with!
I also enjoy watching sports (not playing, unless you want to see someone get seriously injured), theme parks and writing. My favourite TV shows are Brooklyn 99, It’s Always Sunny and The US Office. Not the UK one, although saying that feels like treason.
The main thing I want is some happiness and excitement in my life, because I haven’t had that in the longest time. And everyone deserves a bit of happiness, right?

Passed First time in Raheny Just dropping this here to help anyone who is doing their test in Raheny.
1.Raheny is a really tight spot where watching your speed is crucial. If you are going down a road where cars are tight between you don't feel like you have to go 30 - it's okay to drop down to 20 so you have more control and glance at your side mirrors to show your observing your space.
  1. Practice the small roundabouts. Always drop down to 20kmh to go around and if you are taking a second or third exit remember to check your left mirror and indicate into that turn the same as you would in a large roundabout. It's a fast maneuver so keeping the car moving slow buys you that time to control the car, put on your indicator and check your left/right mirror. It's very easy to collect marks on them.
  2. On the main roads, Howth road especially you need to get the car up to speed. Roads are either 60kmh, 50kmh or 30kmh. Practice your routes and learn where the speed signs are.
  3. Some estates and roads have stop lines as opposed to stop signs. Make sure to take note of these when your Practice the routes. Treating them as a yield is an immediate grade 2.
  4. Take your time approaching your right turn and slow the car down sooner to line up the turn. It's really tight on a lot of these routes and can be really easy to cut over the line or swan neck the turns.
  5. There are lots of steep hills and roads that dip. Use your handbrake everytime to be safe if you have to stop.
And finally, starting the test can be awkward and I think we all can agree we would like to be on the testers good side before starting or even having a little rapport. The way I did it was make sure your car is spotless before the test. Get a new car freshener 5 days before the test so it smells clean. When they come into the car just letting them know they can feel free to adjust the seat, open or close any windows they want and if they would like the heating on.
It's simple but it can ease the tension, well it did for me anyway.

So I have had a very solid regular season and guaranteed a playoff spot.
At this point I only care about the playoffs. I used DobberFrozen to find playoff schedule. Now I wanted to get some thoughts for others on how to precede for playoffs

  1. How much do playoff teams rest their studs? Because that depends on what I do next
  2. Do yall try to make big trades for great players that have good playoff schedules. For example i have Jack Hughes. Their playoff schedule stinks, he could be a trade piece.

Most commonly I see people do this with the stock market, which I’m a part of as well, but I’ve never seen this much movement behind anything in stocks before. I have enough money to put plenty more of it into XRP but with it being crypto, I’m a bit nervous I’d lose it all, unlike Roth IRAs and the S&P500 being much safer alternatives. I have had the Arlo video doorbell for about a month and it has worked quite well.
I added a second camera (Essentials HD Gen 2) and can add it to the app successfully and connect to it live. However, as soon as I leave the dashboard, it disappears. When I try to re-add it, I am told it is already in my account. I have factory reset it and it keep happening.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

2025.01.19 16:49 Little_Year_7928 How to handle teenage girls behaviour

I'm looking for anyway to manage the behaviour of teenage girls without feeding into them and making them worse
I am a student teacher and am success in behaviour management in 90 percent of my classes, even ones that have a bad rep.
I have one class of 12-13 year olds that I really struggle with. 2 girls specifically laugh through the whole class and constantly interrupt they say things like
"I like being a bad person"
"I'm too stupid to be here"
"I shouldn't be in school"
They bully other kids in all their classes and anything you say too them is met with laughter. They are often sent to time outs in other classes and referrals are written up. Obviously they have no guilt and are loving trying to push all my buttons but I don't know what to do except try to ignore them and try to preserve the learning for the rest of the class.
When boys are disrupted I usually show respect in numerous ways and give them some freedom which fixes the issue but this seems to not work for these girls.
Tldr: how too manage really annoying teenage girls

heya folks :) been riding since 2015, (unfortunatly only) 7 days per year with a Ride Manic 161 cm (78kg, 181cm) and considering myself as an (mid) intermediate rider. I primary ride slope, off-piste/backcountry with tree and powder parts. I‘m more of a „chill guy“ and more on the brakes than riding straight to the lift ;) If I could choose I‘d be powdering only.
