Hey acne/accutane community!
I’ve been on low dose accutane (alternating 20/30 mg a month) for about 5 months now. When I started, I noticed my face shape and puffiness in my face about two weeks in. It’s giving me dysmorphia, as I don’t even recognize myself. My face almost appears wider, cheekbones are gone, cheeks are always puffy and just my overall facial appearance and structure seems drastically different. I’m struggling so much because I work as a model and hardly recognize myself anymore.
The only thing I can attribute it to is gaining maybe a tiny bit of weight and the accutane. The change in my look is crazy, it almost looks like I got botched filler in my face. No one really sees a big difference, although my sister does say she notices some puffiness. It’s more than puffiness in my opinion. The only other change, is when I started accutane, I stopped spironolactone (100 mg) because it stopped working for my skin and started breaking out again. Spiro does make your appearance more feminine and “softer” because of the estrogen so I wonder if it’s that contrast too.
My skin is clear which is nice but almost isn’t worth it because I don’t feel pretty anymore. It also made my skin thinner and my face is starting to sag and I just overall look aged. Does anyone or did anyone have this experience? If so, when you got off, did your face start to look normal?

 | Hello i recently got a AC Speedfight 2 2008, i cleaned out the fuel tank, oil tank, got new fuel lines, new exhaust, cleaned the carbuerator and adjusted the air screw on it then got it running but when i tested it on the road it did go but sometimes it cut off when i wanted it to go not dying but no power and thats when i noticed unburnt fuel and 2 stroke oil on the expansion chamber of the exhaust, im thinking that i need to adjust the carb but i want to get good advise first. submitted by FantasticAd8081 to moped [link] [comments] |

2025.01.19 17:09 Warning_Winter 9/16-24 UNEF to a 3/8” Adapter
I purchased a couple of bathroom faucets that have 9/16-24 UNEF thread connections and my water line is 3/8”, so they do not connect. I’ve been to the hardware store twice trying to find the right adapters but I’m having trouble.
I found some posts that say 9/16-24 UNEF is the same as 3/8” compression, which seems to check out but still cannot find the appropriate adapter.
Has anybody ran into this and can tell me exactly which adapter I need to connect the faucet to the water line?

Hey y'all, bought this last month 2013 WRX Base 9k with 116k Cobb Intake Invidia N1 Exhaust Accessport- no pro tune
Before I purchased it, the struts, brakes/rotors, timing belt and thermostat, and throw out bearing were changed at their local Subaru Dealership. Since I bought it, I gave it a fresh oil change, cleaned the filter, and changed the spark plugs. Car runs great, no noticable issues, no codes, everything I was told to monitor is within proper parameters. I drive mostly long distance highway miles and I drive more conservatively than spirited. Is there anything I should still swap out for preventive maintenance or add for safety. Planning putting in an AOS soon and getting a pro tune.
