I am newer to Dredge, having finally started playing recently. Why is this game so addictive and fun? It’s not overly difficult and it’s not anything mind blowing or earth shattering, but it just feels so comforting to play (I like a good jump scare). So why are the rest of you also here and enjoying this game?
And How? How can you adequately explain this to your friends, while giving this the justice it deserves?

This is how I recieved the otp for my new telegram account, the first time I got it via sms from an unknown account so I ignored the otp then after sometime I tried again and got the otp on WhatsApp from an account named OTP, got logged in with that otp but still somehow I'm feeling suspicious. 2025.01.19 17:10 Kelocena Trying caffeine free again. It's hard finding the sweet spot but I gotta try.

It's been almost a week now. I am... okay. Still feeling withdrawal but it's looking up, i think. I was only drinking green tea or 1 shot espresso sporadically, with the occasional streak so not too high doses.
We don't know exactly what is wrong with me health-wise (blood and urine look good on paper!) but I have anxiety/depression, adhd, arfid, and am a sleepy baby who also has insomnia. Wish me luck!!
Long version for anyone interested in comparing to their own experiences: I went to a sleep specialist. Was diagnosed with restless leg syndrome. Got an iron infusion due to low ferritin which helped marginally but i still had trouble falling asleep and was sleepy during the day.
I have been perscribed a stimulant for adhd/sleepiness which i had been taking in Combo with caffeine that made falling asleep even harder. So queue taking mild "short-acting" sedative. This made me sleepy even on my stimulant.
Sleeping pills of any kind make me too sleepy. Taking stimulant + caffeine made me wired af. Just caffeine could also made me feel wired. I also think i metabolize it weird. Coffee makes me so sleepy sometimes but tea is fine. Weird!
I decided to skip my sleeping pills last night and just take melatonin. It was a bit hard to fall asleep and i woke up once (withdrawal side effect of caffeine?). I took my stimulant this morning and even tho i had to lay down after breakfast for about an hour, i can feel them kicking in! Before i was still sleeping and napping thru it on the sleep meds.
I am hoping that i can sleep on days i take my adhd meds if i skip caffeine, and that i will be calmer and more focused as well.
I also think i was using caffeine to suppress my eating disorder, because it decreases appetite but gives energy. (My arfid is i fucking hate eating. It's a chore. Full stop)
And i spoke to a friend who also has adhd and disordered sleep, and is on stimulants for it and they said exercising in the evening rather than the morning works for them. I've been doing yoga so I'm gonna change when i do it and see if that helps me fall asleep. I will try to remember to update my experience in the next month or so. But i am hoping to see more improvements once the sleeping meds are fully excreted in 3-5 days and i am further along in my caffeine recovery.
