Hey there! My name is Mari, and I'm the GM of The Bear Clan, a guild based on Illidan but obviously open to all servers these days.
What is The Bear Clan?
Like I said, we are a guild based on Illidan. We are mostly a social group, but we have dabbled far enough into heroic raiding that we achieved AOTC as a guild in early December this tier. We are planning a more active progression based group for Season 2, but dates and times for those raids are still TBD. We are based on the idea that games bring people together, give people a place to relax and hang out with friends. No amount of progression will ever replace the principles and standards of behavior we have for members.
What types of things can I expect from The Bear Clan?
A group of great people! On top of that, we have an active Discord community that branches out to dozens of different games, from Marvel Rivals to board games on Tabletop Simulator. In terms of WoW, the guild is on a content hiatus until the start of Season 2 but there are still generally a handful of people on in the evenings doing transmog runs, leveling alts or running some M+.
What are the expectations for raiding?
As mentioned, we are building a more progression focused raid group for the future. Our current scheduled raids are one night a week on Sundays, from 8:30pm-11pm EST. We added a second night during our heroic push to achieve AOTC but that will likely not be the progression groups night. We are looking at Thursday as a likely candidate. All we ask of people looking to be on the heroic team is a decent understanding of your own class, spec and raid mechanics. We are happy to help with any mechanic or rotation questions, but because of our limited time we want those questions answered outside of the raid time. We want people with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and get better as a group.

The wedding is in February. Can I wear an ankle length, jewel toned, velveteen dress in a not particularly formal cut? A so-dark-purple-it's-almost-black, velvet, column dress? A knee length, wildly patterned, jewel toned dress? I'm old and fat, can't wear dress shoes, haven't been to a wedding in 20 years and was socially inept then, so really don't know the rules. I don't really have good accessories for any of these.

Yesterday our kids had the neighborhood friends over and it was chaos. The weather was crap, so they were watching YouTube shorts on our TV. Of course the volume was near 98db because.... I'm not sure why. Anyway, they decided to go outside!!!! Yay win! I encouraged them and applauded them for doing so and they went about their business. Proud dad moment. I was picking up the carnage and about 5 minutes later... I'm near rage. My blood pressure is ringing in my ears.. I feel like I could be at home in the center of an Agnostic Front mosh pit.. I can't make sense of why I am in fight mode... Then I hear it. This same 20 second clip of some wayyy too excited English kid saying.,.." noooooo, brooooo,,, how does he do that,,,, " blah blah blah...
I found the source!!! Then, I couldn't find the dang remote to kill it!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
I unplugged the mind drain from the wall. I almost had 15 seconds of piece before they moved returned..
I now understand what my mother felt while I was into my thrash/speed metal. And that breaks my heart. 😂

About a month ago, we started to notice some redness on my now 4.5 month old’s neck. I figured it was just a drool rash, so we did our best to keep it dry and put tubby todd all over ointment on it after baths. It persisted over a couple of weeks, not really getting better or worse, so we took her in to see the pediatrician. She also said it was a drool rash and recommended lotrimin ointment twice a day and aquaphor with every diaper change. We’ve been doing that for a few days and the rash has gotten worse- now darker red with palpable bumps. I’m going to call her doc tomorrow… but should I continue the lotrimin? Or could that be making the rash worse?

wie immer NUR EINE GANZ KURZE FRAGE.
ich wohn hier seit 2018, im ersten winter hat die fußbodenheizung 30 grad geliefert, "mollig warm" wie versprochen. bereits im nächsten wars vorbei damit, denn "die im 4. stock hatten es gar nicht warm" und kurz gesagt: die fubohe ist als konstruktion wohl ein fehlschlag gewesen. ende letzten jahres fror es mich endgültig und ich stellte fest, dass in meinem schlafzimmer rein gar nichts mehr beheizt wird. also regler auf 0 oder auf 5, es macht keinen unterschied. da es auch anderen so geht und auf beschwerden nicht eingegangen wurde, setzte ich ein sammelschreiben auf, mit 31. 12. frist, unter androhung von mietkürzungen. siehe da, 50 % der parteien haben es nicht ganz so warm. bis 31.12. war mit 3 wochen eine MEHR als ausreichende frist zur behebung der mängel.
kurz vor weihnachten wurde es im wohnzimmer wärmer. allerdings wird mein wohnzimmer nur knapp zu 1/4 beheizt, schlafzimmer immer noch null temperaturunterschied. (hab da so freshe 14-16 grad. außenwand!)
nun habe ich wie angekündigt die miete zum 1.1. um 20 % = 100 EUR gesenkt, dieses nochmal mitgeteilt, dass sie die miete auch zurückbekommen wenns wieder warm wird - also auch kooperativ verhalten. erster brief vom forderungsmanagement kam nun.
habe ich da viel zu hoch angesetzt und wenn ja, was wäre angemessener? wie lange kann ich das noch durchziehen bis sie mich drankriegen wegen mietrückstand?

Hey everyone! Robyn here! So after months of it being absent and just persistent as a thought in the back of my mind, the dysphoria has kicked back into gear.
Now that I’m 18 I can start HRT without dealing with my parent, but I feel like it’s just not worth it, like my body isn’t good enough for HRT. I’m 6’ and pretty big, with a natural T-deficiency, but I feel like my body isn’t worthy of HRT, and that by the time I can get it that way, it will be too late. And even things about my body that cause dysphoria I haven’t bothered with in a while.
Does anybody have any tips? Would it be worth it to even try at this point? I’m so scared and lost I just want a body good enough for her
