I live in NYC but will spend a lot of 2025 being nomadic for my husband’s job (he works in film). We will spend a few months at a time in different cities. (NYC, Houston, Paris, Austin)
One of my goals this year is to become certified in teaching Pilates. Is it possible to start with mat 1 with one studio/certification and then go somewhere else for mat 2, reformer, etc. Or should I just stick with a national/international program?
Ideally I’d love to learn mat 1 at a weekend workshop that lets me teach in studios and then continue training in different cities while we move. Not sure how feasible this is. Would love any advice!

Super uncomfortable to write this but really need an outside perspective (30F). A couple weeks ago my dad was playing in the basement with my son (4 years old), they were rough housing, my son began to walk away and he grabbed my son’s butt. My best example is— how a boyfriend would grab his girlfriend’s butt. Only my dad did it in the middle of his butt like for lack of a better explanation where his butt crack is. It was a pretty strong grab. I immediately didn’t like it, felt nauseated and was caught off guard. My son had to then go to the bathroom and ran upstairs. My dad went to go help him in the bathroom, which my son doesn’t need help anymore. After what had just happened, I followed them upstairs and explained that my son doesn’t need help in the bathroom anymore. I’ve never witnessed anything else like this. I know my dad helps with taking him to the bathroom when they are babysitting, he also helps with nap time. Growing up, I never felt comfortable being alone with my dad. Nothing had ever happened but since a young age, I would be nervous to be alone in the car or at home with him. Can’t put my finger on why I ever felt like that. My sister feels the same way. Unsure if I’m overreacting if what occurred with my son was inappropriate. I did talk with my son about private parts and inappropriate touching etc. and my son had said no one had ever touched him inappropriately. Not sure if my anxiety is taking over here but didn’t like how I felt after I witnessed what had happened.
