I understand it may be hard to breathe slow and aim at your enemy with your sight while getting shot at and having to possibly run around with 50 pounds of gear, but I have to ask, do the people fighting try to aim or do they kinda just look for a muzzle flash and spray at it giving they have proper ammo supply?

I first read the initial book sometime around 2006-07. I was buying and reading the Baum books in paperback and seemingly couldn’t avoid the Maguire novel in my searches. My memory of it was that it was a cleverly written, very adult prequel of sorts. But most of what I enjoyed was in the last 1/3 as it tied into the Baum story. I haven’t read the other books.
Now that I’ve seen the film 3 times, I thought it was the perfect time to revisit the source material. But as I am enjoying it mostly, I feel that it comes short of delivering on the premise of the “Wicked Witch” and her story. I may even dare say the movie is a more direct and compelling take on it.
Anyone feel the same?

Hello, are there any plugins available that disable flashing arrows and replace them with stationary ones? As someone who is photosensitive, flashing objects can be challenging to look at.
For example, while killing the Giant Mole and using the Falador Shield to locate it, I find the locator helpful but would prefer a still arrow instead of a flashing one. I don't want to just not use the shield to help locate.

I broke up with my ex almost 3 months ago. we dated for almost 9 months and 6 of those months he put me through hell. I feel like I don’t quite belong in this sub, but I don’t quite belong in the toxic relationship sub either. He was manipulative and controlling and generally showed a lack of respect for me as a human being. after breaking up I’ve learned that the entire time we dated he said really derogatory things about women and his girlfriend (me) to basically everyone he talked to. he always claimed to respect women and hid all of those qualities from me, and I fell for it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt over and over, thinking he was a good guy with some toxic tendencies. I was wrong, he was never a good guy. I feel so so stupid and so angry. I feel like I could lash out at any man that looks at me the wrong way. how do I deal with this anger and hatred?
