I'm in need of a new set of tires for my old Cervelo P2SL to train for and race a triathlon this summer and I'm looking at options, but 100% of my riding over the last few years has been on a rigid 29er, so I'm not up to date on narrow road tires.
I've always used Gator hardshell tires for training and GP4000s for racing, but the bike has been living inside on my trainer since 2018 so I'm not really up on the state of tires anymore.
Are the gator hardshells still decent every day tires? they've always been reasonably protective and at least rideable in wet conditions, but are any newer tires protective and actually good in wet conditions? Don't really care about speed as much as reliability here.
And for racing I'm assuming the GP5000 is still a great tire, but am I missing out not looking at other options?

Hello all,
I want to get into electric guitar making first, eventually I’ll work on other instruments. I’ve played guitar, saxophone and keyboard all my life and I feel like this will start as a hobby, maybe be a side hustle, and hopefully one day become a job or a business if I really really like it.
So I have a cold garage that I setup with a carpet as a studio, I have 4 amps, guitars, my sax, and most important for the question, my iMac down there for the recording studio.
Not too far away is a workshop table I can use as a guitar building station. I fear that with sanding over time, I will gunk up the fans in the computer and other equipment. I’ve repaired computers for 9 years as well so, I’ve seen some real problems with working environments and computers.
Do you guys have a solution when sanding and other processes? Like in the winter I’ll need these doors to the outside closed…did you guys setup a vent/fan system to reduce particulates in the air?

Looking at insurance and it's ~£160 cheaper to get a black box, but can the insurer charge me if my black box says I'm driving too fast or whatever? As in can they call me up and say I owe an extra £100? If not then is there any downside to getting the black box, and then when it comes to renewal just changing insurer if the premium they offer me isn't competitive?

I am considering options as I may have to go into the office in West Trenton (on Near Tavern rd and I 295 intersection) 5 times a week instead of once a week from NYC city that I do today. Moving permanently is not an option so I would like to explore the cheapest options to rent so I can perhaps stay 2-3 nights a week so prices for a room, studio not so far from the work location. Also is there an issue parking overnight in Ewing/West Trenton in case I chose to use a combination of train/bus to commute daily and park a shit box car in Ewing/West Trenton?

Honestly when your parents are supposed to help you but instead they become your biggest trouble makers. They sensed I am vulnerable when I was a kid and that other people didn't like me. Other aspies in autism groups I go to have super supportive parents. And I have 2 people who brought me to live and are just looking to add obstacles.
