2025.01.19 17:40 Equivalent-Hawk-6484 Rear Leg Abcess
We took our golden in to be spayed four weeks ago, 12/23. She had some complications and had to go back in on on 12/27. They gave her an antibiotic injection in her right hip.
After about a week we noticed she was scratching quite a bit but she’s goofy and always doing things like chasing her tail and nibbling.
This Tuesday, 1/14 I came home and noticed a bit of blood. Shaved the spot down a bit and saw a small hole.
Took her to the emergency vet immediately. They said her antibiotic injection had abscessed. Cleaned it and prescribed the following:
Clorahexadine solution flushed 2x/day Clindamycin antibiotic 2x/day Animax ointment injected into abscess 2x/day
Nothing is coming out when I flush the abscbess, no blood or fluid other than the solution, but it doesn’t seem to be getting better? Still seems to be very swollen and open. Sometimes has a bit of yellow discharge first thing in the morning but once it’s wiped nothing else comes out. Just wondering if it seems to be healing okay or if we should go back into the vet this week? She’s acting totally fine, doesn’t cry or whine when it’s being treated.

Anybody using a bed/cargo slide in their (3rd gen) Tacoma?
I have a lower profile bed rack on mine, and loading/unloading coolers when I'm out camping is a chore with climbing up into and crawling back to grab them. I've seen that decked now has the cargoglide for tacomas, and there's cargoease (don't really care for the look of the BedSlide brand), and between the two of those cargoease has a lower profile.
Are bed stiffeners incompatible with having the slide installed?
If anybody has one can you show some pictures?

Hey! I have a question specifically about the Play Diplomacy Online site. I have a game going with some friends, but someone dropped out and surrendered, and we want to replace him with somebody else. The new player made an account, but when he searches for our game by it's number, nothing comes up.
It's a Friends game with a password, but based on what I've read in the site rules he should be able to join and take over for the player who surrendered. What am I missing? Why doesn't the game show up in search results? Or is there some way I can send him a direct invite link?

 | I'm looking for advice on how to clear algae in my tank I am repeatedly having this purple hair like algae grow on my plants, rocks, and filter. I previously had more vegetation in my tank but had to remove it due to the algae It created. after multiple months I'm still not having a success and fully removing the algae. I have been using A algea clearing water additive which seems to help but still hasn't fixed the problem completely and no matter how many times I clean my tank the algae manages to come back. I have also bought multiple kinds of algea eating fish (and snails) but my frogs keep eating the fish and the snails keep dying.
