My son was born a week ago and was jaundice from within a few hours. He had high bilirubin levels and had phototherapy to start with. His unconjugated bili levels have come down consistantly, but his conjugated levels haven't. They've always been circa 20-35% of total bilirubin level. The highest the total bilirubin got was 270 and the conjugated 60.
His poos since day 3 have been mustard yellow, he's feeding well (not far off being back at birth weight) and an ultrasound couldn't pick up any problems/inflamation or anything in his liver and surrounding areas.
He also has high GGT level (I think that's the correct enzyme which is high)
He did have an as yet unidentified infection at birth, which has hopefully been sorted with antibiotics. He's also had a small amount of incompatibility blood group wise with his mum, both of which I believe can cause jaundice.
They ran a blood clotting test which came back fine too.
I wonder if anyone has any suggestions as to what might be his problem. The blood test results sound like biliary artresia could be the problem, but there was nothing on the ultrasound and his stools aren't pale, also I believe that doesn't usually present itself until a couple of weeks of age, where he's had the symptoms from about 6 hours old.
Any suggestions, advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Trying to understand in what ways MMFs can be tax exempt. I always hear people talking about the difference in state income tax exemptions, such as how FDLXX is significantly more state income tax exempt than SPAXX, because more of it is in government securities. But what about federal income tax? I was starting to think that MMFs just werenât ever federal tax exempt, but then I read this Vanguard article. The line âSome tax-exempt funds invest only in bonds issued by a specific state, which makes them both federal and state tax-free for residents of that stateâ makes it seem like I have it all backwards: the difference between (say) FDLXX and SPAXX would be how much they invest in govt securities => how FEDERAL tax exempt they are, and if I wanted a STATE tax exempt MMF, I would have to find one investing only in bonds in my state (OH) which Iâm assuming FDLXX does not. But thatâs not what people have been saying on this subreddit. What am I missing?

Hi so i am 19m and my father had asked me multiple times for me to buy him small amount of weed because he never tried it and he always wanted. I (20year old f) Have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis (medical condition creating severe bleeding and cramping throughout my cycle).
I haven't really met anyone else with this condition as it seems my family doesn't have the same types of issues, or the severity I experience.
During my most recent face to face with this condition: my period was 20days late, involved severe bleeding, passing out from pain, vomiting from pain, nausea, violent shaking, inability to stand up, and an inability to vocally call out for help. (Most likely forgot some symptoms but you get the gist).
At this time I was home alone unable to reach my phone, medication, or heat pack. I spent 4 hours until I was able to crawl back to my room and grab my phone to call someone for help as I was in the shower when these symptoms appeared.
I've seen multiple doctors gynaecologist and hospital staff and do have some effective pain medication. I'm unable to take 'the pill' if it contains oestrogen as I'm considered a stroke risk and pergesterone only pills have presented with no benefits to my condition. I've had multiple ultrasounds (external and transvaginal) where I often have ovarian cysts presenting.
Im often disregarded and told to just take my pain medication in these situations but I physically can't get to my medication and I cannot keep them down long enough for them to be effective. Most hospitals don't believe me and don't pursue with any pelvic exams after learning I've already had an appendectomy.
How can I better be heard by these doctors or are there any ways that I can call someone easier when no one is home? I'd really appreciate advice or support as being disregarded as being dramatic by doctors over a very real thing is absolutely heartbreaking and demoralising.
