Hello, I (34 f) have been in Caregiving (education, school age children / people with disabilities) since I was 18 and currently work as a Site Director for a before and after school program. I am excellent at what I do. I have learned a majority of my communication, multi tasking, and problem solving skills in the field. There has always been an underpinning of Psychology to everything that I’ve done in my career. I have accrued 88 credit hours toward a BA. I want to go back to school for a Psychology / Criminal Justice Dual Degree which my school of choice offers. I’m currently working a split shift which affords me the middle of the day during which I can complete coursework / attend class. However I really don’t enjoy the work anymore. I’m being underutilized for my real skills/ strung along because they need me where I’m at. I’m also burnt out on solving the kinds of problems associated with being a glorified baby sitter. Should I just suck it up because it pays decent and attend school on the back of something I’m losing passion for? Or should I find a job in the field related to Criminal Justice so I can get some real experience? I’m just not sure what to do next and would really like to hear from people who made later in life career pivots. Thank you!

I’ve been having the worst time with lag and high ping while playing online, especially on servers that are far from my region. Gets so bad sometimes that my shots don’t register or my game freezes mid-match. A friend told me gaming VPNs might help with this, but I’m skeptical. Do they actually improve ping or make connections more stable, or is that just hype. On top of that, I also download stuff with torrents occasionally, so I’m wondering if using a VPN for gaming would mess with my download speeds or connection for other things. Has anyone tried a gaming-specific VPN and noticed a real difference?

I have a nextjs app that I have deployed on Railways. My domain that I bought (let's call it myapp.com) is on GoDaddy. I want to map the railway service to my root domain, so to myapp.com. When I add a custom domain in the service settings on railway, it shows me to add CNAME record on GoDaddy with a @ as the name. That's not allowed on GoDaddy though. I also tried adding "www.myapp.com" instead on railway, but then it shows a warning Incorrect value "myapp.com". Can somebody help?

Would you rent a restaurant space for a short-term pop-up? I'm exploring an idea similar to Airbnb, but for restaurants—helping chefs, food entrepreneurs, and brands book restaurant spaces for a night, weekend, or a few months instead of committing to a full lease.
A lot of restaurants aren’t open every day, or close for a week or two, and many chefs want to test a concept before opening a permanent spot. This would match available restaurant spaces with people who need them.
Would you use something like this? Why or why not?

Has anyone had success with maintaining normal levels after incorporating lifestyle changes i.e. stopped smoking or drinking, added exercise and changed diet similar to AIP?
After 18 months on Methtimazole, my levels stabilized… and it only took 3 months to go completely out of range with FT4 at 58 again! Dr does not feel I am eligible for any other treatment than going back and forth on medication. Looking for anything to aid my health.

 | I found a Kit on marketplace for $100. I am assuming she is early because she has a zipper on her skirt and functioning buckles on her shoes. She was basically mint and came with her box and her accessories were untouched. Her hair barrette had never even been used until I put it on her. She is a cutie. Also has pleasant on her neck so transitional. Got her little pocketbook and nickel too as well as her meet me book. I asked the seller when she got her and when I said 2000, she thought earlier. I told her Kit came out in 2000 so that had to be the earliest. The seller said she was born in 85 and got her at Christmas, so that means she was gifted her when she was 15. I can see that as my family still gave me dolls when I was older as collectibles. I can tell she was not played with at all. 2025.01.19 17:40 Training-required How to learn how to improve?
I have been using a controller as I haven't quite decided what to do for a wheel and pedals.
I seem to have gotten worse over time but don't know why and I don't know how or where to see how to get better.
While I am somewhat content to just run my own race it does get rather boring and a tad discouraging to be Soooo far behind.
I believe I am losing time in corners due to not being able to brake consistently, I am also losing grip alot which suggests I am over driving and finally I lose time due to lower straight line speed.
The tuning thing just makes my head explode as I find it very confusing.
Are there any resources out there that I can refer to as I really don't know what to change in my approach even knowing some weak spots ie. If I drive slower to maintain handling I just drop further back, if I brake earlier so as not to lose grip in a corner I fall further behind....I want to learn but where the heck can one go to get a better understanding of what the issues are and how to begin to address them?

His most famous recipe translated to english is called "Fucked chicken" and overall he makes good recipes in every budget. Because he swears a lot he doesnt make anything out of it so he posts once each few months but makes some good and unique shit. What are other channels that would be that good? Something made from passion and not yt revenue?
