 | I got an oyster bread machine and I have used it twice now but both have fallen but the bread still tastes good so I’m not sure what’s wrong. First pic is of the first loaf that I used random flour from a container in my pantry, and the second one used Arthur all purpose flower because my grocery store didn’t have the bread flour except in the tiny bags. Red label yeast is the one I used in the first loaf and it was mixed with the water and sat for 10 minutes before going in. I was in a devil corp for almost a year and was just about to hit asst. Manager. I recently found out that our current asst. Manager doesn’t make any extra money other than commission but they are still expected to do the job as the “CEO”. I felt really betrayed because I was super close with everyone in the office. I had started to think of this as my future. I’m not going to lie I was actually making a lot of money, I didn’t care about the long hours because I’m my head I was was always working towards something better. So when I found that out. All of a sudden my rose colored glasses were yanked off of me, I started seeing the job for what it was. And what I saw was: 1. Mandatory unpaid office time (illegal to make something mandatory if you aren’t getting paid for it) 2. Mandatory unpaid training on off days 3. People will act like they love you just to straight up lie to your face 4. The “CEO” will bonus themselves out a shit ton of money at the end of the year and not even give their employees an end of year bonus. Not even a little bit of it. 5. Everything is always your fault. The store is dead, that’s your fault. A customer was an asshole, that’s your fault. You are having a bad day, control your attitude. 6.

Hey, all. I read the books about 25 years ago and don’t remember them very well, so what I know of the story comes from the films. I’m trying to understand it all better.
Is the One Ring alive/sentient? I know Sauron’s life force is bound to the ring, but is this a fair interpretation?
At the original battle when Isildur (sorry for any misspellings) cuts off Sauron’s hand and he dies, there’s giant shockwave and Sauron’s forces all collapse. If the orcs are pulled out of the ground (birthed in dirt, say) why would they also die? Are they connected to Sauron somehow beyond just being minions?
Why won’t Gandalf take the ring? He says he would use it to do good but through him the ring would have a terrible power (or something similar). Does this mean that Sauron would take over his mind if he put it on?
What happened to the elves and the dwarfs who received rings? The humans became Nazgûl but what about the others? Galadriel is shown wearing her ring rather happily which is odd considering it was given to her by a dark lord, although I get that they were all deceived.
Why does Boromir want the ring? Why doesn’t Frodo say to him “if you put that on the Nazgûl will come and kill you”? What was Boromir planning on doing with it besides taking it to Gondor? It’s not exactly useful…?
What’s the test that Galadriel speaks of? Is she saying if she puts the ring on she’d be strong enough not to become a minion for Sauron or that she’s just able to resist its call?
I think the story is amazing, I’m just a bit shaky on what the ring can and can’t do.
