Y’all! I just begrudgingly flew American (to use the last of some miles I had with them on a route that would have required a connecting flight with United) AND THE FOOD SLAPS. I enjoyed every item. My salads, the delicious and warm sourdough bread, the main course, the SORBET for dessert (since I can’t do dairy and ordered the Asian vegetarian). I’ve never had a meal like that on a domestic flight with United.
Do they use different catering companies?!

My home is about 50%/50% on wood and carpet. i’ve got three cats and a dog that sheds pretty bad. currently i have some shitty tineco stick that i’ve had for a year but it’s got problems out the wahzoo. really what i think i need is a vacuum that will: •not push the hair around •will not get clogged easily •will actually suck up the hair from my carpet • doesn’t constantly need the filters cleaned almost everyday. these are all issues i have currently

For context my mom was poor and couldn't afford to pay for childcare and go to college/feed my siblings and I. So from 13 onwards I was basically the primary babysitter for my 2 year old brother at least during the summer (but there were days where I was told to stay home from school) then my mom got a boyfriend and things kinda leveled off but, at 16 my mom had my youngest brother and my step dad and my mother manipulated me into agreeing to be homeschooled for my junior and senior years I was the primary caregiver for two weeks at a time since step douche left for work and wouldn't be back for a while month and my mom's work schedule was two weeks on and two weeks off. Then my senior year even though he got laid off my step douche often times pawned the two year old kid on me without saying a word while I was supposed to be doing schoolwork.
And the crazy thing is I miss taking care of those knuckle heads even if I had to grow up faster than most cause of it. Anyone else experience something like this?

I can’t withdraw and I can’t draw any closer. You’d hate me if you knew. I must stir in the feeling, hold it close, adore it for what it is, and not want more. Give me the strength to not want more.

How do you prove an event occurred in-service without buddy statements? I remember the event clear as day. It's not utterly debilitating mentally, but the memory and the morbid thoughts remain. It was briefly addressed with MH counselor while AD, but I don't know if it was annotated in med recs.

We all aren't from canada but we've been living here since i was 6 and now my parents are forcing my older sister to get married to a man she doesnt want to.They also have hit both of us in the past and my mom has threatened to kill us and almost stabbed us with a knife once. My sister isn't really that financially independant and im also not but she wants to move out now to her friend's house.I want to know what to do with my parents since i cant move until i have money and they will force me to get married in a couple of years. I found a band SO VERY similar to Seether that it's scary, they go under "Halo" or "herotide" and basically all I could find as of now is their album called "track of time" from 2008. The reason they sound so extremely alike is because they are both from the late 90s/early 2000's post grunge/ALT scene in South Africa. Not sure if this is true since there is not much info on them but I have seen a handful of times that the lead singer, which is named "John Dirker" is apparently Shaun Morgan's cousin or "close friend" and that Shaun Morgan coached him on how to sing. not sure how true or accurate this is though. I find the whole thing quite interesting and thought I would share. If anyone knows more feel free to tell us or if I got anything wrong, feel free to correct me! Thanks for your interest in this!

First time poster. I got a super-dwarf retic a few months ago, she's a baby, only about 1m long. She's my 4th snake so I'm not a total beginner. I've been handling her as much as I can, and she's relatively well tap trained, with a few minor exceptions. As soon as she's in my hands she's a sweetheart. My question is that when she's in my hands she's always trying to get to my face, and until now I don't let her. I understand that faces/heads are full of nerves and blood vessels and so are very interesting for curious snakes, so when do I let her come near my face and shoulders etc? I'm trying to work out what i should do with my pension contributions, but need some help with my thinking.
My TC is approx £250k gross. I salary sacrifice 1.5k a month with employer match. So to date approx 12k+12k = 24k.
The pension allowance is 65k. So 41k left. 4 months till april is another 12k through SS. leaving 29k for this tax year.
I was thinking to pay 29k into a SIPP to make most of tax relief, But i'm not sure what tapering comes into affect if any, or if there's anything else i'm missing. Is my thinking right?
