Hello guys, I'm currently using Keychron K8 (brown switches, completely stock) and MX Keys mini at work. Looking for something new, but relatively cheap.
I've been lately wondering if these Aulas would be an upgrade over my K8. Obviously I paid for K8 more than I would pay for F75 if I decided to buy it, but watching all the keyboard gurus' videos, it seems like good keyboards have gone cheaper now :)

2025.01.19 19:02 Jeff90909 What replacement Heater did everyone else buy?
I was using my heater in a kids room.(it has been working great) and finally caved and picked up a Dreo model off Amazon. (similar size, etc. to my Govee)
It's obviously not paired directly to the Thermometer but I looked at the Govee temperature data the next day and noticed that compared to the "very consistent ramp up/down" temperature of the Govee heater, the Dreo heater maintained a wider +/- 2 deg range, and the data looked up down , etc. all over the place throughout the night and seemed to run more frequently than the Govee. My Govee would run for maybe 10-15, then be idle for 30.
The Dreo.. I wouldn't describe it as a burning smell, rather a plastic/off-gassing? I don't know if that's a problem for a young child ? I'm pondering my decision to replace a device that had no smell and worked flawlessly for this one that has these quirks.
What other ones have everyone tried? Costco has a Lasko one currently on sale that isn't as pretty looking but it seems to have good reviews.
Thoughts?

Im only a few days into testing, so maybe this is just a newbie mistake everyone knows about. I just tested one hour after lunch and got a 168 reading. WAY higher than anything I’ve had so far despite eating what I thought was a balanced lunch of avocado toast (on whole grain bread) with chicken salad and an apple. I tested two fingers and got 168 and 170 readings!
Was super confused so I brought out my booklet from the doctor that listed a potential cause of high readings being from not washing hands before testing.
Tested a third time after washing hands and used my pinky which I wouldn’t have touched to the apple and… got a 105. So the apple juice on my fingers caused the high reading! Feels like an oh duh now, but hadn’t considered that happening. Won’t be forgetting that again!

Given the current situation I'm very interested in switching to X1Plus for the firmware on my X1C printer. I've avoided it so far just because I didn't want to deal with warranty issues that may have occurred, but now those printers are out of warranty.
My current firmware version is: 1.08.02 - is there still a method for switching to X1Plus? Can I return to the Bambu firmware if I wish?
