However, the local hospital, IU Health Ball Memorial requires an NBSTSA certification. Ball States Course says it’s a NCCT/AAH certified. Are these mutually exclusive? is the ball state course a type of NBSTSA certification? Hi everyone, I’m a 26-year-old male with a history of health anxiety. I don't have a family history of cancer or IBD, but my father and uncle may have had IBS (idk for sure ). I wanted to ask about some symptoms I've been experiencing, as they’ve been causing me a lot of stress and sleepless nights.
About 5 months ago, I noticed dark rectal bleeding while pooping. but i must say that i always had large, solid stools then, so I freaked out about the possibility of cancer. Unfortunately, I didn't have access to healthcare at the time, so I couldn't do anything. I should also mention that I had been biking daily with an uncomfortable seat around the time this started.
Over the months, the symptoms have fluctuated. I’ve noticed that the toilet water occasionally turns reddish, and while the bleeding didn’t again, . This time, about two weeks ago i noticed bright red or maroon blood on the toilet paper when I wiped myself, which really stressed me out. I went to the doctor, who confirmed that I have hemorrhoids (which have been present for months). She ordered blood tests, a calprotectin test, and a urine test, and gave me medication and a cream for the hemorrhoids for 10 days. Since then, I’ve seen again bright red blood on toilet paper once last week, and no more red water in the toilet.
However, I’m still feeling uneasy, especially with some new symptoms. Here’s what I’ve been noticing lately:
- After eating, I experience excessive gas – I fart a lot, immediately after eating, and often (especially after eating fiber-rich foods) the gas is extremely smelly.
- My stools are inconsistent. The first stool is hard enough with normal texture, but subsequent stools are often loose, mushy, and sometimes nearly diarrheal.
Could this be something like IBD or another digestive issue or cancer? I’d love any advice or thoughts on what might be going on. and What can I do in the meantime ?

2025.01.19 18:39 SevroAuShitTalker Plan for my 5080 Build (first full build)
First time doing a full build, and this is my plan for a 9800x3d and 5080. The MB is a bit overkill, but microcenter has it as a bundle so it's $150 cheaper. Ended up being only $50 more than the MSI Mag i was considering. Also planning to install a 2nd SSD and a storage HDD that I already own. Figure this will be high end for now, and the parts should last awhile.
Biggest thing I'm not sure of is the power supply. Might drop to an 850 W or a different brand. I've always heard corsair makes reliable PSUs.

If I'm listening to a song and write down what I hear, trying to make the score as accurate to the song as possible, is it okay to publish the score? It's a drum score, so it wasn't very hard to copy it accurately. So I've technically copied someone elses music, but does it still intrude on the copyright when it isn't a real score from the songwriter, it's just me trying to write what I hear?

2025.01.19 18:39 Strawberrythirty My husband's case is in arbitration going on over 10 months
He was a clerk and was fired after years working there because he came late twice in a week. They gave him a warning about half a year prior because he was late. The lateness were literally less than 5 mins each time. They were because of weather related issues (frozen car) and once because he was sick and still wanted to come in. His supervisor didn't like him because my husband told on him to the union more than once because the supervisor was asking them to violate OSHA and because he was constantly screaming at him and another worker. That and my husband wasn't afraid to be frank with him on issues and unfai unequal treatment in the workplace. This guy just wanted to get rid of him.
His grievance went into arbitration and during this time the union began discovering other things about this supervisor including him changing the time clocks in their location so HE the supervisor can't be late. Which means it was possible he changed the time when my husband was coming in as well to make him late when he wasn't. This supervisor still hasn't gotten fired even though the other staff complain about his behavior and how he's created a toxic work environment. My husband is still part of a chat room with his worker buddies and they all talk about what is happening there present day. They just keep changing this man from supervisor of clerks, to supervisor of mail carriers, finding places to squeeze him into without so much as unpaid time off for what he did. He's faced no repercussions and my husband on the other hand was given an option. To get fired and put his case into arbitration. Or to quit and be able to be rehired in other offices, just never again in that office. My husband told them to go ahead and fire him so he can collect unemployment and so that he has a better case if it comes to the point where he needs to get a lawyer.
This was all in February of '24. 10 months ago and still no word on this situation. Since then my husband got another good job but still would go back if they told him that man is gone and he can return. Does my husband have a good chance of getting his job back this point? If they don't give him his job back what sort of legal recourse do we have?

I was diagnosed with Stage IV malignant melanoma about 1.5 years ago. I responded well to treatment, so well it burned up my pituitary gland and caused adrenal insufficiency. The treatment journey started with one dose of radiation to my brain as I had a mat there near my brain stem. Then it was Ipi/Opdivo until I got sick and now just Opdivo
Over the last year or so I have noticed having a hard time comprehending things. I am chemist with an advanced degree and work in the pharmaceutical industry. I have to re-read technical documents over and over, I struggle keeping up in development meetings and other things like that. I have even felt like people noticed. These are things I excelled at prior to the cancer.
After some research online, I am concerned it’s real and related to my illness. I’ll discuss with my oncologist at my next visit.
Anyone have any experience about this? I am worried this is a real thing and I might have to start thinking about doing something I can be effective at.
