This family is nice we have tvs in our room && we can use our phones. I’ll be in detox for a few days then move to residential. It’s my first day here and I’m craving a drink so bad and feel like this is all a waste. I was in rehab in October made it a month, then relapsed hard. It’s frustrating and my family thinks I’ll never get sober.. I know it’s only my first day but I’m going to try & go through the steps and stay as long as my insurance will let me. Then I’ll try a PHP program , last time I did IOP and just stopped going. Keep me in your thoughts and any advice is greatly appreciated !

I was putting my kid in the car seat when the car to my right started reversing and their side view mirror hit my back right passenger door. They gave me their insurance info and asked to provide them repair estimates before reaching out to their insurance. However, the local hospital, IU Health Ball Memorial requires an NBSTSA certification. Ball States Course says it’s a NCCT/AAH certified. Are these mutually exclusive? is the ball state course a type of NBSTSA certification? Hi everyone, I’m a 26-year-old male with a history of health anxiety. I don't have a family history of cancer or IBD, but my father and uncle may have had IBS (idk for sure ). I wanted to ask about some symptoms I've been experiencing, as they’ve been causing me a lot of stress and sleepless nights.
About 5 months ago, I noticed dark rectal bleeding while pooping. but i must say that i always had large, solid stools then, so I freaked out about the possibility of cancer. Unfortunately, I didn't have access to healthcare at the time, so I couldn't do anything. I should also mention that I had been biking daily with an uncomfortable seat around the time this started.
Over the months, the symptoms have fluctuated. I’ve noticed that the toilet water occasionally turns reddish, and while the bleeding didn’t again, . This time, about two weeks ago i noticed bright red or maroon blood on the toilet paper when I wiped myself, which really stressed me out. I went to the doctor, who confirmed that I have hemorrhoids (which have been present for months). She ordered blood tests, a calprotectin test, and a urine test, and gave me medication and a cream for the hemorrhoids for 10 days. Since then, I’ve seen again bright red blood on toilet paper once last week, and no more red water in the toilet.
However, I’m still feeling uneasy, especially with some new symptoms. Here’s what I’ve been noticing lately:
- After eating, I experience excessive gas – I fart a lot, immediately after eating, and often (especially after eating fiber-rich foods) the gas is extremely smelly.
- My stools are inconsistent. The first stool is hard enough with normal texture, but subsequent stools are often loose, mushy, and sometimes nearly diarrheal.
Could this be something like IBD or another digestive issue or cancer? I’d love any advice or thoughts on what might be going on. and What can I do in the meantime ?
